Gen 7 of LPS is based on Gen 2 that came out many years ago.Gen 2 pets had different symbols in their eyes and that was their personality.

I did a little google hunt out of curiosity btw and the one you said was a chihuahua is a corgi! 😍 You had most of them right but since I have the list open you pulled: 6:40 Himalayan Cat 8:15 Otter 9:53 Horse 11:20 Bull 14:45 Caterpillar 16:35 Quail (NGL, still looks like a cockatiel to me lmao) (Edit: After further research into other LPS quails, and quails and cockatiels in general I think this is mislabelled as a quail, because quail doesn't make sense lol more info in further comments) 17:56 Rabbit 19:20 Poodle 21:00 Panda 22:12 Tiger (Why no stripes? XD) 23:15 Anteater, not Aardvark, but easy mistake lol (Also: Apparently Anteaters do enjoy bananas. I love that there's no single use plastics. These blind boxes are usually so bad for unnecessary plastic, whether the bags themselves, or the box that they come in. This is a big plus! 🤩

Btw if you are someone that wants to keep cute packaging but it's just sitting around collectinf dust: cut them! I cut mine to fit in my card/sticker collection folder. That way I can keep the designs, reduce the space they take up and have them not collect dust somewhere.

yes, and you can also make yourself a display set and use the printed items on the box as a decoration for the "room". What are those called.. doll collectors do them all the time... made out of foam board/cardboard/wood...oh yes. box rooms.

​@@Hopischwopi You know those bamboo drawer trays? I got some from a dollar store, $3.00 each. Paint each section like it is a room. Put a hanger thingy on the back. Use that sticky tack stuff to place items in it and hang on wall. Good size for those little Disney figures! I told this idea to MyFroggyStuff here on KZbin and she totally upgraded hers. She got picture frames that have a stand on the back and she built up items in the frames, she made trees etc. then put her Disney Doorables in them.

I personally the Chihuahua is a Corgi! And the character is kind of a lovely joke with the Queen of England. She loved Corgis and the crown and the picture on the card (sitting on a throne) is giving me the royal vibe!

It was fun to watch your review of the new LPS. It's always good to see the prospective of someone who isn't in the LPS community. I'm an experienced LPS collector and could answer some of the questions you may have about the pets. If you need another project to do with LPS, you can always customise them. Many people repaint them into amazing art pieces.

FROG 🐸 I loved collecting them as a kid, this was one of the few toys for girls that actually had reptiles. I remember my dad searching all over to surprise me on my birthday with the cutest frog.

I like little petshop, when i was a kid i had a racoon, pig, amd a pink cat. I gifted a cat to someone, broke the pig, and about 10 years later i still have my racoon. very cute toys, and good memories. Those toys travelled with me a lot.

Jackie for the pink otter (I think that's what you called it), you may be able to put the accessory on it by slipping through it's body. I know the head is too big, but the body looked like it may be thin enough to work.

The lemonade is funny! I have a cat who is OBCESSED with citrus. Hint of lime chips, lemon curd... loves my lemonbalm plant. So while most cats dont appreciate citrus, some do!

The last one unboxed is actually a corgi. It makes alot of sense that it came with a crown for the accessory and the character card shows it sitting on a thrown because it's a call back to queen Elizabeth II. Prior to her passing and through out her life, queen Elizabeth owned corgis.

I used to collect LPS as a kid! I loved how different and varied the accessories were! I remember having a set of pets (some of them came in duo packets with bigger accessories) that came with a storage thingie that could be opened with the magnet in its paw! I think the magnet paw became a stable feature afterwards, but right when I had gotten it, only 2 of my LPS figures could open the bucket, so it felt like it was a secret stash area for only those two characters!

BTW, Jackie... tailless cats exist! We have five of them, one of them looking like that last "chihuahua". We've got Siamese Manx (one fluffy, one short-haired), a void manx (my black Nyxie - my favorite cat), a tuxedo manx, and a reverse smoke manx (she's mostly white with only the tips of her fur being black, making her look black). Manx are a breed of tailless cats and they're freakin' adorable because they're usually tiny. One of ours (the reverse smoke) looks like a permanent kitten (she's fine and healthy - just tiny).
