Ive been working on a lace half moon shaw and its been kicking my behind. I'm getting ready to frog for the 3rd time because i messed up on my repeats and my tension just doesn't look right to me when i transition from a stockinette set of rows to the lace rows. I think I will try making a shawl using this video as a guide with a easier lace pattern to practice then come back the pattern I am working on after I get the hang of these half moom shawls

I'm fairly new to knitting; is a wedge shawl possible with even more wedges to create a pinwheel or parachute effect in different colors?

Yes - you can add more wedges!

Hi, I didn't get the difference between wedge and swirl shawl, the explanation seem same to me, and the demostration goes fast, I wish you could show by knitting a little sample or gauge of swirl. Thank you

Sorry about that! The difference is that a wedge shape has the increases worked at set points that don't change (very similar to a top-down triangle shawl) so you end up with straight lines of increases. With the swirl shape, the increases move over by one stitch every time. There are free printable pattern 'recipes' you can download - that might make it more clear.
