I'm gonna second another comment and say that the "Transformers: Siege" & ""Earthrise" lines are some of the best action figures out there in 2020. I don't collect TF like I used to, but they were my first love in the toy world and a childhood obsession next to Star Wars. In fact, I haven't bought a single bot in over 4 years with the exception of a G1 reissue Hotrod. However, I can't help but appreciate and admire the figures being released right now. For me, G1 cartoon likeness was the biggest thing I looked for in a bot. The figures being released right now are almost spot on to their original 80s cartoon design. Previously, the only figures out there which nailed the G1 likeness were masterpiece figures(along with a handful of the "Titans Return" & "Combiner Wars" figures). But these new hasbro figures are giving the MP line a run for their money. Seriously, these figures are at or above MP quality in terms of G1 likeness and are a literal fraction of the price. This is the line that I desperately longed to see back when I was still in the TF game.

About four months ago, I just got into collecting Neca action figures. I also have quite a bit of, DC multi-verse, the original line, not McFarland. But my favorite Hass to be, Star Wars the black series 6 inch figures. Started back in 2013, and I told myself, I was only going to collect original trilogy. Seven years later, I have well over 100 black series figures. And they range from all nine main films, to video games, I’ve never played. I am definitely addicted.

Excellent video, with one exception. It would have been nice to show an image of the Super 7 Conan The Barbarian line. It seems like you didn't show it because as you stated in your video, you could care less (but figures look great). I'm not in anyway trying to be rude, because if you don't like Conan, it's all good. But for the people who are watching your video that are Conan fans, it would have been a nice gesture to show images of the Super 7 figures. Take care.

Masters of the universe origins is a great line to start with at around $15. They are Walmart now but will be general release for 2021.

Glad you included AEW Jazwares on this list. Some skin tones were off in the first wave but i find they tend to improve with each subsequent wave. The Transformers Studio series is indeed good and the recent Studio 86 stuff is among the best work they've ever done. Fun list - thanks for making this!

The S.H. Figuarts line is a little more pricey, but awesome. The new Anime Heroes line I believe will be huge.

Great video, great list. There is one other line that I would recommend though that you didn't hit on. That would be the Jazwares Legendary scale Fortnite figures. Granted I have never played the game in my life but these figures are crazy fun with lots of accessories and multiple point of articulation. They scale at six inches so they mesh well with other toy lines like Marvel Legends and Neca. Plus it's the same company that the new G.I. Joe line is coming from

Good list overall. I would say that the Super 7 MOTU Vintage figures are a good place to start. You said they are $45 but BBTS has them individually for $20. These will lead well into the MOTU Origins line coming out this Fall. I'm most excited about that line.

I would say the line I am most interested in would be the Black Series Star Wars figures. A friend of mine just gave me the 6" Black Series Revan and I LOVE IT.

I started collecting again with the star wars 6 inch black series in 2013 after about a 12 year gap., Had no intention of collecting anything else but then quickly discovered other Hasbro lines, diamond select, , DC, Mattel, neca and mcfarlane, got about 400 figures up to now. I try to stick to just TV and movie figures but get tempted by one or two other things from time to time, wouldn't mind some super7 ultimates but even the price of those is a bit beyond me,I'm not into wrestling so not much interest in them. But the one thing on this list I will never ever ever go near is funko pops, I have another name for them that I don't think I should repeat here lol. There is a line that I don't think is that popular over there but would be a good starting point, although a lot of the figures are now older and not easy to find, Doctor Who by Character Options, I've got about 80 from that line, pretty cheap too. CO is partly based in my hometown, Oldham, UK, I emailed them once asking if I could visit and buy something but they wouldn't let me :,-)

Collect whatever you love. I collected marvel legends and then I realized I didn't even care about half the ones I had and now I just buy a couple of the better toys of the year. This year I have my eyes on the Black series Mandalorian and Mcfarlance Justice league animated batman or superman (waiting for a sale). Wish I had the NECA turtles movie villains but no way I'm gonna find that unless it gets rereleased. Also can't wait for the SPD blue ranger when they release that cause it was one of the cooler toys I had as a kid.

Ok so right off the bat my favorite episode so far but still working my way through special kudos for hitting on New Japan & AEW figures I think this is a Great area to do follow up videos on my daughter & I enjoy Marvel would love to see more on that maybe even a video celebrating or covering Vintage Legends series in particular in as much as we love the movies and that got her into marvel I brought home some of those vintage series ones and explained how these look more like the comic book toned versions I grew up w and how they oth have there place and now she absolutely adores those w the vibrant colors and nods to jack Kirby and others she’s an excellent art student so they inspire her Also we’re looking at getting stan Lee w the captain America shield next as that will be the perfect representation of him in her collection And we agree the build a figure by marvel has to be the goat She received the entire thor ragnarok series on a past Christmas and she loves that Hulk plus like you said they throw in stuff that may not be instantly recognized but then strangely you become obsessed w it we love that particular series one of our favorites next to marvel legends vintage ...which we eagerly await there next release

Under $50 I'd say Black Series, NECA TMNT, the new G.I. Joe Classified, and Siege/Earth Rise transformers (the new R.E.D. transformers action figures may be good as well). I also collect MP transformers and figuarts Star Wars, but neither of those are under 50.
