My feeling is the same - they appear to be desperate to 'get' these people - what they fail to understand is that many non-English folks are far better at keeping their money & saving it than the English. Because of the history of their lives and the scarcity of everything - they know how to save - they stash money away instead of following a standard English lifestyle. I've seen it with my own eyes. Hence they often have clumps of cash stashed where no Englishman would understand how they did that !! It's more often than not the saving of a few dollars at a time CONSISTENTLY that gets you to that place. Of course some of them are crooks, but just because they have cash does not make them a crook ! So the English attitude needs to learn a lesson here, and drop their feeling that 'these foreigners' have no right to this money !

I'm a mental health clinician and work with the neurodiverse community (Seizures, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder). Not having epileptic or psychiatric medication for several days can make you extremely ill and hurt, or even kill you. The symptoms are most often confusion, lightheadedness, lethargy, psychomotor agitation, slurred speech, blank expression, anxiety, and tremors. Also, many of the medications that are used in a psychopharmacological intervention for ADHD and ASD, for example, contain stimulants and amphetamine-based and methyl-based salts. I take these medications for my ASD and ADHD and my shoes and belongings would test positive, as well. There was not enough evidence other than circumstantial evidence. If that man were to have had a seizure and this had happened in the United States of America, it would be a very valid and easy District Federal Court case. Plus, that officer would have lost his job. Also, (you can tell I have ADHD), why is he not taking the advice of the doctors looking at the X-ray (asking them if they are sure), why is he disappointed? Did he want a catch "for telly"? And I guess that's part of the problem - the authorities don't like money travelling anywhere without them knowing about it ! We are all supposed to keep it in a bank, where it could be seized at any time by the government just by making a declaration ! I've flown eleven times and have never felt nervous around security/guards/police. I've been called for jury duty nine times so I was scanned many times for weapons. But, that's just me. Some people are just nervous normally. I mean some cops will try to bust you just for looking at them in the wrong way. Maybe the guy with the car was going to score on some things in France, but it didn't work out.

Its not about how many times you ran into authority. Ive flown over 200 X and still get nervous even though ive never done anything wrong (based on how i must act i always get checked for drugs or b**bs) lol... I even get nervous crossing a cop car when im behind the wheel in the city. So yeh just depends on people

@@AudieBOfficial I know the feeling. I've never had any troubles with police in my life but I get nervous everytime I encounter them. Someone said (without knowing this) that I was a swindler in a previous life lol so maybe that's the reason.

These people don't believe people have anxiety, nervous-ness, etc... when they're at work. I bet once they're off duty. They have families and friends who have it and will defend them if someone say something stupid like they do.
