My baby boy is almost 7 weeks old and I remember when I was sitting on my favorite chair and I realized that in a few weeks I will nurse my baby on exactly that chair😄 it sounds so stupid but it made me very emotional. the office room was done perfectly. It has both of yours vibes combined yet it makes it feel like ľ seperate individual spaces. BTW dont throw the smaller table if you will buy the bigger one for you Sissel. Keep it for when your son is bigger. It is also saving you some money. Just take the table appart and keep it for him.

I'm currently in my 2nd trimester with my first son and oh I feel the same! We planned for the baby and even so it is so hard to imagine that in 3+ months we will have another human being with us. Also, we were hardly convinced that we will have a girl (not preference just intuition) so the sex was a big surprise for us :) I feel you about addressing the worries of moving stuff on your own. It irritates me that the society thinks that as a pregnant woman we don't have common sense. We know what we can do and our bodies will definitely tell us when we overdo something. There is enough pressure and responsibility of caring another human being!

It's not just Korea.....when you first have a baby, up until they are around 3 or 4 yrs old, their stuff takes over. It's been many, many years since mine was small, and his stuff took took over the house. Your office redo looks great.

Can guarantee you will have a box in the corner with toys in. Sounds as if they’ve put in really good sound insulation. Nesting and setting up the nursery is such a good idea as you can use it as a base for changing baby, clothes etc as you will accumulate loads. It’s such an exciting time.

Ikea sells lots of desk tops. You could get a deeper one which you could just screw onto your existing desk to give you a little more distance from your monitor. Assuming there would still be space to squeeze between desks, hard to tell on camera.

I think the baby mat is actually really important, we originally wanted to only keep a rug, but when our baby started rolling over and trying to sit she was hitting her a lot and the rug wasn’t cushioned enough, I would recommend moving the table out of the wat and getting a large baby mat and place the rug on top of it

It's so exciting to follow your journey to becoming a mother! I am not a mom myself but I am a kindergarten teacher so it often feels like I am a mother to my students. They even jokingly call me 'eomma' sometimes 😆 I often follow along by saying when did I get 8 kids (I have 8 kids in my class) and they will climb all over me 😂 While I love kids and I'm happy to look after other ppls, I know I am definitely not ready for my own, just yet.

we are so happy you're so far along, i went on pintrest and i saw this post "Telling every pregnant woman I know who's planning on having a natural unmediated birth to eat pineapples, dates, drink red raspberry leaf tea, and walk a lot to soften and prepare your cervix. I did this and I was only in labour for 10mins and got the baby out in one push/ didn't rip at all. I was up walking 15mins after giving birth" and i wanted to share it with you since we want you to have such a smooth birth🤍

Many women have lots of energy later on in their pregnancy - they paint walls or put up wallpaper! My sister kept moving things from one room and putting them in other rooms. This Is Very Normal and a good outlet for extra energy. 💆🏼‍♀️
