Also Good Times (& the other Black shows he made) was stolen from two Black men, Eric Monte and Mike Evans, by Norman Lear. Eric Monte sued & received a settlement of $1 million. You didn’t even bring that up when talking about the history of the show.

I tried to give shows and movies a positive look as much as I can (and sometimes I tried to come back to these shows and movies just to give a new impression on them!) There are a few shows I’ve been a bit too hard on when I first saw them but after viewing them on my own again I had a lot more fun with them then I did with seeing the trailer for this show! Shame because the animation the character designs and voice acting are really great!

Look me personally I come from section 8 project living I loved the show JRs plot line relates to me I wasn’t a terrible student but I definitely did end up in a gang and got way in over my head but luckily I never had to get shot to snap back into reality it’s edgy because this is a edgy time the baby is a gangster because these kids are young as hell with guns dope and babies on their own
