Actually, this reminds me a lot like a Newgrounds animation. The geometrical character designs, the thick outlines, I actually don't mind the artstyle too much with some of the characters, but there's clearly inconsistency, which is annoying. The backdrops also look nice. The real problem is with the tweening! Or lack thereof, there is no goddamn consistency! The lip sync doesn't quite seem right sometimes, the heads are fully animated sometimes with tweens but when the body moves they don't tween that, it just looks really janky! Either you stick with a low framerate or a high framerate (unless you are going for slapstick humor, which this is not). Yeah, I used to watch good times when I didn't have any cable. That show was a classic, it's good because it accurately depicts a black family instead of what the media tries to put out there depicting a black family, where the man of the house doesn't want to be around his kids and the mother is at home raising multiple children by herself. This animated reboot is just a mockery of that legacy had to offer all because black people want to be accepted into modern media where they only want them around for money, not so they can shine. It's good that he mentioned Boondocks because the show mentioned so many times how B.E.T was basically the downfall of black media and why it does nothing to highlight black voices, but instead make us look bad so that Hollywood makes money off of our people acting a fool.
