I just connected mines. I have my m1 nighthawk router in my room downstairs. If I use the 5 gigahertz bandwidth connection, going upstairs being kinda distant I would usually get one bar(poor connection)and have to resort to using the 2.4 bandwidth from my router to get 4 to 5 bars upstairs. But after I installed my ac750 extender in the initial set up, then relocated it upstairs. Then I was able to use my 5 gigahertz bandwidth with full bars with the extender. I did a speed test upstairs and the result came out to 171mbs download and 46 upload. The most I've gotten in my room was 197mbs download and 55 upload. I was surprised with the results. I love this device. 5 out of 5 for me. 👍🔥

@@johnnyt1210 Not anymore. It couldn't connect to the towers in houston. wirelessbuy.com said that they had problems with clients connection in Texas. So I stopped using their service. I would have to buy hot spot service from another network. Wait the answer above was regarding the m1 nighthawk. I have the extender in a box like new actually. I'm using the extender ex8000 right now. But I suppose the one you're referring to should work seeing that I barely used it.

Hi David. That won't work very well. If I remember correctly, the signal would be to weak, and even the manufacturer said it would not boost to what you would need it to. May need to look into a stronger model

Diifficult to setup and doesn't run the 5 MHz channel. Should I trash it and buy some other brand that was made in the 21st century? This should be super simple to setup with WPS technology. Printers and irrigation system controller has been simple and they work.
