Great demo! In all the others I watched no one knew how to turn the gain below 1 o’clock

Just got mine today from Neunaber. One of the best overdrives (and most versatile) I’ve ever used in my life. This thing is unbelievable. And contrary to what some people reviewed, the medium gain tones are MONEY! Yes it does clean, yes it does crazy stupid high gain progy stuff and down tuned stuff, but I think the clarity and punch of the medium gain tones are HEAVILY understated. It SHINES at the mid gain stuff.

Planning to move to mainly direct recording using a preamp pedal. The versatility and simplicity of the controls has me sold! Great job with the Immerse Mk 2 as well, love it!

Mate, I highly recommend it - it will handle that brilliantly!

This was a very good demo. Clearly demonstrated each control effectively. Most others I've seen are more about the riffs than the pedal. Nice riff, by the way :-)

@Neunaber Audio Team, I just wanted to thank you for making this awesome product that feels very amp-like when running DI. I’ve just built a micro board with the Neuron as its centrepiece tone generator. Fantastically dynamic tone with great extras on-board. Thanks!
@NeunaberAudio5 жыл бұрын
So glad it's putting in work! It really is perfect for small boards because you can do so much with such a small footprint.

@@NeunaberAudio That's true, and it sounds superb for its size. Plus there are the gate & the compressor that work very well. I'm off to the races!

Will Pete Thorn be doing a demo of the Neuron please?

Yes. Pete is a busy guy, so we don't yet know when he will post his demo.

Adam Arts tried this pedal on a bass. Sounded good. Thoughts ? I have this pedal. Going to try it out. So far this pedal digs my Strats and Warmoth Les Paul style guitar.
@NeunaberAudio5 жыл бұрын
The Neuron works incredibly well on bass. The EQ was designed to handle and shape the entire frequency spectrum and whether just using it to add some light grit and compression or going full high gain, the Neuron is well suited to both bass and guitar.

Would you say this has enough distortion for metal?
@NeunaberAudio5 жыл бұрын
Definitely. Check out the last two sound clips on the product page (click the Sounds tab below the video): neunaber.net/products/neuron

Neuron definitely has enough distortion for metal, our friend Igor Efimov will Be showing off some of the heavier end of the spectrum soon!

Hello guy!!! I want to use the high gain channel of my amp (cause i love my Revv Generator!) fo metal rhythm songs parts...can the neuron only be used as a noise gate for this particular uses...without adding anything else that could color the sound? Is it possible to use the compressor with my clean channel without adding anything else? If yes, will i have to put all the knobs at nun except the compressor knob? Thank you for the help for my last question!!! 😁

Hi Tommaso from Italy here, I bought the Neuron from Thomann a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. The one thing I'm not completely sure about is the presence control which seems to me to have very little effect on sounds, it seems to me that if I turn it all the way down a little low end is added but again it's really subtle. Is that the way it's meant to work, and do you have any advice about how to get the best of this control? Thanks, fantastic pedal anyway
@NeunaberAudio4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. The Presence control is most easily heard when you have some Gain added. Otherwise, it will be very subtle.

Hi if i place delay and reverb pedal after neuron and going to my amp fx return, do you think it's gonna be sounds right? My experience in the past with another brand preamp pedal ( victory v4 ) like this : Guitar 》preamp 》zoom ms50g 》fx return The result was didn't sounds right, because the delay and reverb only going to fx return only without plugged to the send. Can you explain this?
@NeunaberAudio4 жыл бұрын
Not sure why this wouldn't work. Since these are not our products, I cannot speculate.

@@NeunaberAudio okay i understand. So it would work with neunaber pedals right? I really interested with neuron pedals. They are awesome

Can it djent? I’m really serious this time. For my bandmate who always use mutli efx units and want to have a pedal based setup. Our music is mostly high gain :)

If I’ve got pedals after it in the chain, will direct recording suffer?
@NeunaberAudio4 жыл бұрын
No, assuming that they are good pedals and that they are properly ordered.

Sounds amazing! Could we get a demo in the future where it’s showcased how the pedal cleans up when the guitar volume knob is lowered? I’m a fan of setting a semi-high gain and just lowering the and increasing the volume knob to get a more dynamic overdrive.
@NeunaberAudio5 жыл бұрын
We will work on that. Neuron actually does this really well. Keep in mind that you need to turn down the compression to achieve dynamics!
