You were great! A lot of your content really hit Home for me. I lost my best friend to a glioblastoma tumour a year ago last week and a lot of what you talked about is stuff he was talking about getting done to him so it was familiar and painful and comforting that he had the best care he could get at the time

Jim is hilarious and love the pod, seen every episode. But i gotta say, the constant interrupting when the Dr is explaining such important stuff that people need to hear was a bit much this ep. Other than that, cheers and thanks for the pod.

not sure how many people noticed the doc thanking god that only his son died without killing himself.. it takes an evolved state of mind to make such a statement and also be doing so much positive stuff .. these little things that people say are truly inspirational .. never know where u ll get to hear them ..least of all with the delightful Mr Jefferies ..hats of to all of em

The part about women golfers staying with people - in cities that host PGA events, male golfers are known to stay at homes of members of the club that's hosting the event, and/or staying at other wealthy people's homes that put out offers to board them, because their home is adjacent to the course and nearby.

Life expectancy is ONLY accurate if child deaths are not included. Through out human history most people who reached adulthood lived well over the age of 60. When they say that life expectancy in the middle ages was 35 years it is not accuarate. The problem is that many children died before reaching adulthood, greatly impacting overall life expectancy. Only 60% of children reached adulthood during most of human history. If you have 6 people reaching the age of 60 but 4 die before they are 5 years old, the numbers don´t reflect the reality. ONE THING IS LIFE EXPECTANCY AT BIRTH AND THE OTHER IN ADULTHOOD. People make this mistake CONSTANTLY and it pisses me off. HUMANS HAVE NEVER BEEN OLD AT 40!!!!!!!! We are the same animal that roamed Africa 150 thousand years ago.
