Gomez is telling Tully with that second look and the line "one for *me*" if that woman didn't have a gun he could take down Tully, and an entire army, for Morticia.

When charging into battle or a rescue it is always best to be properly dressed for the occasion.
@dockside20124 жыл бұрын
I think the clothes change is rather symbolic. During his entire stay at the motel, he dressed like slob because he was miserable, depressed, and pretty much just gave up on life. After he realized Morticia was kidnapped, he finally found something to fight for and felt like he found purpose in life, thus returning back to his old self.

@EmmaJ.k.88 Well, I remember in the beginning of the movie it showed Gomez doing things at super speed where he turned pages of his calendar book at super speed so maybe he fixed his hair and put on his regular outfit at a super speed. Either that or, maybe "Thing" helped out a little where as Gomez was getting dressed maybe "Thing" was combing his hair so two things could be done at once. Or, maybe "Thing" was helping to comb his hair while Gomez was driving back to the mansion especially since "Thing" was with him.

@OwlsoftheNight_Yt I was surprised how Gomez got his hand cut since he is supposed to be a professional sword fighter as seen in the beginning of the movie.

Even if he turned out to not be Fester, this moment did welcome him to the family.
@afriendofbean2 жыл бұрын
@Shanethefilmmaker That's true where even if he didn't get struck by the lightning in the "Hurricane Irene" book, he probably still would have acted like Fester since he grew attached to the family at that point and the whole family would have still accepted him into the family even if they found out he had amnesia.

The look of utter disgust on Gomez’s face when Dr. Pendershloss pulls the gun on him is epic. I’m that look you can see the contempt he has for someone who has no honor. He didn’t like Tully, but he respected him as an adversary. Raul was a master. I can’t imagine what else he would have done had he lived.

I imagine something similar happening in Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time: Anastasia: But mother, couldn’t we just- Lady Tremaine: Shut up, Anastasia! Stop dragging your feet! You disgust me! You’re nothing but a useless, sniveling baby! A stone around my neck! What was I thinking? I should have abandoned you the day you were born! (Anastasia just stands there looking shocked and appalled, then she turns to Cinderella.) Anastasia: No tricks, Cinderella! That’s the wrong wand. (Cinderella was actually about to grab the right wand but Anastasia stopped her. She then grabs a black and red evil looking wand.) Anastasia: Allow me. (Cinderella looks at her and is confused at first, but then she realizes what she is up to.) Cinderella: (whispering) Nice work, stepsister. (Anastasia winks at her and turns to face her mother and sister. They see that she has a dangerous wand in her hand and start to back away.) Drizelda: Put that wand down, Anastasia. You don’t know what it can do. It’s not just a stick. Anastasia: Oh, really? (She waves the wand at them and it makes her mother drop Fairy Godmother’s wand.) Cinderella: (to Jaq and Gus) Quick, get the wand. Jaq: Got it, Cinderelly. (They scurry to the wand.) Drizelda: Anastasia, I’m your sister. Think of all the wealth! Anastasia: It’s not yours, Drizelda. Back off. (Meanwhile, Jaq and Gus grab the wand and give it to Cinderella and the Prince.) Cinderella: Nice work, guys. Jaq and Gus: Aww, shucks. Tremaine: (frightened) Put the wand down, Anastasia. Listen to mother. Anastasia: I’ll never listen to you. Never ever again. Tremaine: I had to be strict because I cared. Put it down! Anastasia: (angrily) You never really loved me or Cinderella. Cinderella: Anastasia, this way! (She, Jaq, Gus and the Prince enter a secret passage.) Tremaine: Stop wining, you little good-for-nothing. Be a woman! Anastasia: You were a terrible mother! There! I said it! (She waves the wand and summons a fierce tornado which sucks up her, Lady Tremaine and Drizelda around the throne room. She drops to the floor but Cinderella catches her just in time, while Lady Tremaine and Drizelda are flung out the window into the castle’s pigsty flat on their faces.)

I actually re-watched this film recently with my family with my mom and that, and ngl felt a little uncomfortable/embarassed watching the torture scenes where she's enjoying it, with it obviously being a thing Morticia and Gomez do in the bedroom. I think it's the only movie ever though where they make the stretching rack look sensual, I wouldn't mind giving that a small try after seeing this now haha 😂
