Thank you from all of us who have been so apprehensive to to this in their garden. I’m probably one of the worst. This was definitely worth the time to watch and build confidence to incorporate it to save me and others so much time. Um is common sense the same as being genius. 😂 seeing things differently and making decisions to change I think is one thing I’ve learned from you. Thank you for sharing. We all have to eat!!😊

Thanks for sharing. I used a rain gauge to calculate how long it would take my sprinklers to get roughly two inches on a block of beds, however due to poor infiltration rates in some areas I can only do 1 inch at a time. Also my water pump is under sized anyways so I try not to run it more than 30-45 min at a time which makes for 1 inch with my current setup

Your gardens are beautiful!! Where can I find a watering can like the one you used in the video? Thanks!

You can use thick more durable and longer lasting pipe especially for a mainline (and then just drill into it)

I want to water our vegetables and flowers like Connor but we are worried about mildew and mold in plants. How do we avoid this?
@JaHe-u3w4 ай бұрын
drip irrigation, also depending on the plant.. if you're going to use sprinklers on the leaves of plants that are susceptible (ie tomatoes/zucchinis/pumpkins which is not ideal) allow enough time for the leaves to 'dry' out before the sun and temp goes down for the day. Liquid copper can also help with prevention..

Why is one heavy watering better than small regular watering?
@NeversinkFarm2 жыл бұрын
Shallow watering may not reach roots, give the plant enough water or may dry out too quickly.

The top of the soil is where most evaporation will occur. Normally you're irrigating because water is an issue for your plants at the moment. If you only saturate the top inch of soil with a quick spray then it may evaporate before the plants have an opportunity to use it. A deeper soaking gets the water to the roots and also insulates it from direct sun so you lose less to evaporation and can water less often, making your irrigation more efficient.

also encourages the roots to 'search' deeper

Where can a person purchase this type of sprinkler from?
