It's great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan's kzbin.infoUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans was extremely useful to me as a guide.

BRILLIANT work! The TV: floating, moveable, art on the back. Laundry drying. Multiple levels. Bed cubby. Spice shelf. Unlike other small spaces (that I also love), this one can really host a number of people without being cramped. The deck is a dream. The cat spaces are fantastic, even if the kitty didn't catch on to where it's supposed to scratch. 🙂

I find I tend to prefer the apartments that are the architects own home - I think as he says it really helps to live in a place to help you design it, it lets the space speak to you and allows you to build something totally individual and tailor-made. I love the switch on the pulley system and the sliding tv, and those massive floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the water are amazing!

This is a classic example of how helpful NTS is to those of us already living in small spaces. Like others here, I love the drying closet -- so attractive, even when in use, and it looks relatively simple to construct. I also find the mirror placement helpful... How to capture light without turning the place into a narcissist nightmare, lol. Being a short person, ceiling height spice shelves aren't going to be my choice, but personal choice is what makes design delightful.

@makanimike
@makanimike Жыл бұрын
not really. the loft floor hangs until 2m or less from the window. And it is quite inconvenient to have a TV hanging that close to a south facing window. But much more than those practical issues, I think the goal was probably to not have the huge black rectangle dominate the space when it is not being used 80% of the time. That is also why they added that quirky sculpture on its back. Cause now, when it isn't being used to watch TV, it is a sculpture instead of a black box.
@morgenmuffel5747
@morgenmuffel5747 Жыл бұрын
@@makanimike I was referring to the wall opposite the couch; that is quite some distance from the window. While I appreciated the sentiment behind and novelty of the “sculpture”, the rail system, cords, etc. all just serve to create an eyesore, imo. Moreover, the tv, when pushed against the wall, just looks awkward and in the way. An original artwork on the wall above the couch would better tie the space together

Drying racks are very common all over Europe, but most people (including me) have ugly foldable ones and they qre always an eyesore. I am actually really excited, I think this is the first apartment on here that shows anthing like that :)

I love it all! A very exciting apartment. Even the attention given to the clothes airing cupboard is stunning! I looked closely at everything to learn as much as possible! Congrats to all. Thank you for video. G Ire

This is my favorite design so far. The light, plants, and design are so complementary. It's so open!

Brilliant! I love all the solutions they came up with and the place looks beautiful. That view of the water... what a dream.

I also prefer it when the architect lives in the small space…and there is a resident cat….the split level space, from entrance way is a great way of maximising space. The concept of “zones” is exactly what you wish to achieve in small spaces. All in all a very successful conversion and a beautiful residence. The floating deck is a piece de resistance..Enjoy.
