A yo my name is actually Etienne and I’m also a young great runner lol. Ive been averaging 70 miles a week lately and recently I ran 91 miles in a single week. Although I’m not as fast as this guy My best mile time is just a 4:59 but I actually do want to become a pro some day to just like Etienne lol

@@haydenwittig8877 Oh how interesting. I didn't see you pipe up on the kiplimo video that is just a few days older than this. I tried looking for you but no. All i see is dozens of comments masturbating over how spectacular kiplimo after breaking the 15k record. Should i wait for you to comment the same there?

Omg I’ve never heard of this guy until today lol. The funny thing is that my name is actually Etienne, I’m half French and I’m also a distance runner just like Etienne. Although he is far much better than I am. I run an average of just over 70 miles per week. I’ve only ran 90 miles in a week once. And my best mile time is just a 4:59. Although I am training now to become a pro someday. I do core workouts everyday so I can handle that high mileage. I take ice baths just about almost every day so I don’t get injured and I’m always figuring out new techniques that can help me become better. Although during the video I can’t stop laughing since he’s literally saying my own name over and over and I just can’t help but think of myself every time he says that lol😂 He’s also butchering the name since that’s not how it’s pronounced

2:06 This race does not appear to have had pacers, because everyone wore a numbered bib, and these bib numbers are among the top finishers. Etienne Daguinos wore bib #1. Does anyone know how bib numbers were assigned for this race? At 7:38, the narrator says that Etienne Daguinos broke the European record held by Julien Wanders (Swiss), but that record (set at Valencia on 12 Jan 2020) was 27:13. Dominic Lobalu tied that record on Sunday, 14 Jan 2024 in Valencia. On Sunday, 17 Mar 2024, Frenchman Jimmy Gressier broke that record with 27:07 in Lille, where this race was run. Here is the list of the top 15 male finishers and top 5 female finishers posted at Watch Athletics for the "Urban Trail de Lille" 10km road race on Saturday, 16 November 2024. I have listed the bib number if I could read the name on the bib. > 1. DAGUINOS, ETIENNE FRA 27:04 (bib #1) 2. LELGUT, MESHAK KEN 27:16 (bib #17) 3. ROTICH, CHARLES KEN 27:18 (bib #10) 4. KIBOR, BRIAN KEN 27:30 (bib #7) 5. NORDAS, NARVE GILJE NOR 27:31 (bib #3) 6. WALE, GETNET ETH 27:33 (bib #2) 7. TOLESA, AYENSA ALEMU ETH 27:34 (bib #14) 8. ALEMU, ABEL BEKELE ETH 27:35 (bib #5) 9. ABDILAAHI, MOHAMED GER 27:40 10. KIPEMOI, AMOS KEN 27:41 11. WAFULA, EMMANUELLE KEN 27:50 (bib #12) 12. GUERRA, FRANCESCO ITA 27:59 13. YITAYIH, BAMLAK ETH 27:59 14. GOMES, DUARTE POR 28:07 15. MAYWA, SIMON KEN 28:14 (bib #20) > (Their countries were not listed, so I looked them up and added them.) See 3:52 for the top women runners halfway through the race. Bib #103 appears to say "Cherono," suggesting Gladys Cherono Kiprono from Kenya. 1. KEFALE, WEDE Ethiopia 30:31 2. CHEBET, ESTHER Uganda 31:22 (bib #108) 3. BLOMQUIEST, NATHALIE Finland 31:26 (bib #104) 4. AREGAWI, ABEBA Ethiopia-Sweden 31:31 (Wikipedia lists her as a retired 800m, 1500m runner.) 5. CHYDENIUS, NINA Finland 32:17 6. HEU, Charline France 33:58

Old record was Jimmy Gressier and not Julian Wanders. And there is 2 cross country French championship on the same day. Short race and long race. The long race beeing about 10k and the most popular and prestigious.
