New 2024 Mitsubishi ASX Hybrid Compact Urban SUV Facelift

Mitsubishi Motors Europe is changing the face of the B-SUV segment with the introduction of the new ASX, a vehicle designed and developed for drivers who value advanced technology, class-leading system solutions connectivity and modern design.
the ASX is a two-row, five-seat compact SUV based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance CMF-B platform and supplied by Renault. The new ASX will be manufactured at Renault’s Valladolid plant in Spain
The design of the New ASX highlights Mitsubishi Motors' signature Dynamic Shield front structure, emphasizing the features of an SUV and brand values such as dynamic appearance, solidity and trust.
Viewed from the side, the vehicle is characterized by a smooth silhouette with wide, high wheel arches, which gives the impression of standing confidently, and this is enhanced by eye-catching 17- or 18-inch rims. The 17-inch flex steel rims have hubcaps designed specifically for the new model, and the 18-inch black Diamond Cut aluminum rims have a new design for this Mitsubishi model.
The styling of the rear body refers to the sporty aesthetics and versatility of the entire design. The rear lights are expressively designed and, like the headlights, use exclusively LED technology. The rear of the vehicle is finished with the ASX emblem and 3D Mitsubishi lettering on the cargo door, emphasizing the Mitsubishi Motors signature style of the new ASX.
The interior of the new ASX is versatile and prepared for a variety of touring challenges. Getting in and out is easy thanks to the high seat position and hip point for the driver and passengers. The interior is available with a choice of fabrics and leathers depending on the trim level selected, while heated seats and steering wheel keep you comfortable on cold days.
Comfort, versatility and practicality are part of the car's character: the rear seat slides forward by 16 cm, providing even more space in the trunk or increasing passenger legroom. The sliding bench seat provides an additional 69 liters of cargo capacity in addition to the standard 442 liters of the boot capacity. This is standard on all trim levels.
The new ASX takes a major step forward in connectivity, offering drivers greater control over the car and enabling features that drivers need in their daily lives. The car offers both built-in Google software and the My Mitsubishi Motors application, giving users access to real-time diagnostics, remote maintenance and vehicle search functions, among others.
The heart of the new ASX's infotainment system is a large 10.4-inch, high-resolution vertical screen. there is full transparency of all the information you need, whether it is about wirelessly replicating your smartphone screen with a map or using many other applications.
The new ASX is equipped with a high-class Harman Kardon sound system, ensuring exemplary sound clarity. The 10-channel audio system with a power of 410 W produces clean and powerful bass and selective and clear mids and highs, which will satisfy the musical tastes of every audiophile.
The new ASX features advanced electrified powertrains, including full hybrid and mild hybrid powertrains, as well as efficient combustion engines, giving customers the freedom to choose the solution that best suits their needs.
The basic engine in the ASX will be an innovative 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, delivers reasonable performance, delivering 67 kW of power and 160 Nm of torque.
The powertrain consists of a 1.3-litre direct injection turbocharged petrol engine integrated with a mild hybrid system using a belt-driven starter-alternator and electrically connected to a 12V lithium-ion battery, The mild hybrid powertrain can be equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The drive system in such configurations provides 103 kW of power and 260 Nm torque with the manual gearbox or 116 kW of power and 270 Nm torque with the 7DCT automatic.
Customers who expect even higher efficiency and lower exhaust emissions can benefit from the fully hybrid drive system of the new ASX. This solution combines a 1.6-liter petrol unit with two electric motors and an automatic transmission with a selectable gearshift mode. The 105 kW of power unit strikes the perfect balance between performance and fuel consumption.
