As the chief engineer, I expected a lot more explanations from him. He mostly says this feature is good, it looks good, our customers need that, etc. The lady engineer keeps saying I like this, I like that, this is nice, I like red, etc. Most, if not everything in this video can be found on the Toyota website. I wanted to know: 1. How the hybrid system works. 2. How the safety systems work. 3. Some new innovations in this car. 4. Lessons learned from previous camrys that led to the new designs in the 2025 model. 5. Why not have a plug-in hybrid for the camry? 6. Anything that adds to the customer's knowledge.

Realizing both children were no longer living at home, it is now just the two of us, the Trailblazer hardly ever carried more than two people at a time the last five-plus years, and having a F150 truck if needed for hauling oversized items, we no longer needed a SUV.

I love this color and this Camry design. I currently drive a Toyota Camry SE 2017 and Toyota of Bowie, Maryland having been bugging me to purchase my vehicle. I told them, I am not selling my vehicle not that I am retires with no car payments in 2023. What on earth would Toyota of Bowie think how would I get around selling my vehicle to them? Also, I live in Washington, DC where car jackings are up 104%. Driving this beautiful 2025 Camry XSE, the Seeds of Chucky (Juveniles) and criminals would car-jack me at gunpoint stealing this vehicle. You see nice vehicles like this Toyota XSE Camry will attract thieves.

Explain the little box that is on top of the steering column. Does it have eye's and does it talk to mommy? What about a remote kill technology - Can the cops or some hacker disable your vehicle when you are driving? I might be interested in a new Camry but not if it has some of this big brother technology. I'll buy a used car or a different brand instead. I don't see a need for an AWD over a FWD, surely it will cost more, have more complexity and offers no power increase that really does anything or does it? Last question is will there be a TRD version?

EPA hasn't released fuel economy estimates for the 2025 Camry yet, but we expect it to earn similar ratings as last year's hybrid models. That car was rated as high as 51 mpg city and 53 mpg highway.

Underwhelming engines and transmissions. The last gasps of the Toyota sedans. Did I miss an update is the TRD gone from the cars? I realize it was just a trim pack. For one of the Big-3 NASCAR brands, eh, this is not lighting the tires on fire. Even hearing “235 Horsepower and an extra 7 Horsepower in All Wheel Drive” sounded embarrassing as it came out. If it’s that same whiny 4-cylinder they’ve had for years, it’s not a winner.

I thought Toyota would put their Hybrid MAX powertrain in the Camry. (In lieu of the departing V6). Toyota is likely saying, “Want the Hybrid MAX powertrain? Get a Crown.”

It doesn't really need it though. It took around 6.5s to hit 60mph in the Camry/Avalon with a v6. The 2023 Prius pushes the same (6.4 to 60) with the 2.0 I4 Hybrid. That Hybrid MAX in the Crown? Yep, 340hp - but it runs 0-60 in about 5.8s. You're only saving maybe a half a second at best for 0-60 times. Sure it would be sportier but it's a lot of money for a half a second.

5:40 The new-er Camry Grilles are so ugly IMO, i hate them but i like the car a lot. I rented a 2016 and really liked it except every time i saw the grille. Toyota seems to be getting a little better by slowly stepping away from ugly front ends, the new Prius looks a lot less ugly and this 2025 Camry is not so bad. The Rav4 front end is still horrific looking, i want a Toyota but just...... i can't do it. * 11:26 The grille on the blue car is the least ugly Camry front end i have seen in a long time but the chunky lower corners manage to ruin it. Hi Lauren, I am a long time Camry guy. This is a strange choice on Toyota's part. Basically, 82 percent of buyers get the gasoline engine because of longevity. Meaning no fuss replacing hybrid batteries. Also, a Toyota thing when people talk about how long his or her car has lasted with minimum repairs.(ex hey I reached 300k etc.) I guess Toyota people are spoiled. I would assume Toyota doesn't want its customers to keep cars as long anymore because they will come to the crossroads of buying a new car or replacing a battery.

The new front fascia on the new 2025 Camry is not my cup of tea. I would never buy one for that alone. I prefer the front fascia on the previous gen 22-23' Camry TRD and XSE much better. The previous gen front fascia looks much more stylish and aggressive in my opinion. But to each his/her own.
