I've wasted all kinds of money buying BMS boards and balancing charging boards and I still cant find one that will allow me to connect my 42v power supply and it will balance the cells while I'm charging them. Focboxes are used in quite a few DIY boards but are not exclusive to us. Also quick note, the availability of chips has temporarily paused the production of the FocBox. So the Interstellar Kit comes with a full metal VESC 6 for the time being. Set up is the same and will give the same performance.

Sweet, the Kit and the board are perfectly priced! Anybody who's interested in 600 to 1500$ should consider it. However, man you should propose a better looking deck and enclosure, your build look more 2016 DIY rather than 2021.

They are three-phase wires. You can either have a 3 phase motor or a 1 phase motor (dc motor) and then you will also have a different kind of speed controller.

I absolutely have to use this board even on days when it rains and yes don't worry I'll ride slower on said days. But I'm wondering what would I have to get fixed in water damage? Everything electrical, just the battery, or what? I know this is a terrible thing but I'm desperately against owning a car for work

Typically water damage effects the ESC first. The battery can be effected too, but is wrapped quite well so typically takes quite a bit more water.

How do you check the battery status of the board?

My remote works for controlling the board, but it always indicates the board has a full battery. The other day my battery completely died and the remote gave me zero warning. Is this a pairing issue?

Same. My remote always has one red light indicating that I have low battery after hours of charging. Not sure if it's my battery that's the issue or the remote itself.

I would like to det the diy interstellar kit but instead of belt drive i want hub motors and instead of the 10sp battery i would like the largets 12sp battery for range and speed upgrade, the esc would have to chsnge as well to the hobby wing i gather to work, i also want black airless rubber wheels instead of the knes that come with the interstellar stock, could you make a soecial kit for me to assemble with everything i want as stated above? I would like a price for that build and a price for changing the battery to rhe larger 12sp from the 10 sp and again switching the wheels to thr airles black rubber

Well if you consider what’s included, it’s priced cheaper than purchasing each item separately. Still not a cheap kit, but a good value in our opinion.
