Really glad you're enjoying our levels, Wolfy! A few things I'd recommend is to put primal sunflowers further to the front of the lawn, you can take full advantage of their increased health there. I'd also recommend bringing some plants with strikethrough, such as laser bean, and pairing them up with a plant like repeater to help thin dense hordes

This mod brings back really old features that got removed from the original game For example, the yeti was in the game originally. There is also ultimate battle themes, and mini game themes, that also got removed (for “storage” apparently)

Yeti is still there but only in penny’s pursuit and arena, in the old days he could appear in any level you complete and hunt him down to get loot and such, the good ol days of pvz2

Once again a pleasure seeing you get past our levels! Nice going with the defensive plays, your game is evolving! As a suggestion as the creator of many of these levels: try and combine attackers that deal with clumps of zombies and ones that do concentrated damage. The waves will simmer away!

Wolfy, here is a tip: use shadow shroom, in this mod its one of the best "one zombie" killers, now it recharges faster, and really useful against zombies like Pyramidheads. Also, please be more concentrated on the levels, because most of then are completed easily, if just concentrate. And don't fear to use the premium plants here. But first read the balance changes, because some got nerfed.

I've not played most of the expanded Ancient Egypt yet, but a few things: - The lack of plant food might be due to the fact you get loads in Vanilla nowadays, which i believe was changed in patches, so i'm not sure if the lower Plant Food count is part of the challenge in the expansion levels or not. - The second level basically advises you to use offensive plants at the back, and producers further forward. This especially applies to Primal Sunflower who has a HP buff in this. - Torchwood has been nerfed; he no longer does melee damage (likely because of the Endurian buff, has less health and his explosion does less damage. - Not gonna knock you too much for the Garg level because that looks like a pain in the arse, but at 14:06 you could have easily plant fooded the Bowling Bulb to clear the zombies out because as bad as Bowling Bulb is, his boost is really good. Also, please stop using Mower Launch when the zombies are about to trigger them anyway as it's a complete waste. - Nice to see you using Intensive Carrot because even on Vanilla he's mad slept on, but please don't use it on Sun-Shroom, he revives them to their first form so there's no point. Also, have fun with the Yeti events, I missed the hell out of them.

Correction: Torchwood has also gotten a significant buff. The fire peas it produces (as well as the one that fire peashooter fires) do one tile of splash damage here, making fired up peas extra deadly to zombie hordes!

I agree with most of your comments except for the mower launch. Using mower launch seems very useful because it saves a couple plants in the row and also allows you to rebuild / recover your defenses in that row faster. mower launch is especially useful to protect expensive plants like winter melon at the back.

There was actually a time where the yeti zombie was very prominent in this game. He would be pinged to a level to where he would show up and killing him would grant you what was usually extra coins

I'm glad this mod kept plant food and power ups. In Eclise's case I get that it can be tough to balance difficulty with those parameters in mind, but getting stuck on a level in a tower defense game with no scapegoats is too frustrating

@@slimeball2765 Take Celeste for example. If you never heard of it, it's a very difficult platforming indie. But even still they have cheat modes (slow speed, invincibility, etc.) that the player can choose to activate at any time, as an accessibility feature, because in a single-player game you don't need to make it as hard for everyone, good for casual and hardcore players. The issue I have with pvz 2 is that they often monetize over accessibility features, like stronger premium plants, sellable time keys (that one before), and gatcha systems for levels (I don't consider the powerups since they don't cost too much). That is besides the pay-to-win aspect of multiplayer.

I think its worth pointing out that Peas that are aflame work the same as they do in PvZ1, meaning they have small splash damage radius

Around 2017 EA removed a lot of things out of the original game, if you notice all the zomboss and gargantuar level islands got reduced in size, there’s videos comparing the two. Also, there was two types of music in each world called demonstration and boss music that played during specific levels, the demonstration song played whenever a new thing was introduced like power ups or a new plant, it also played it mini games such as last stand or when you have to get a amount of sun to pass a level The boss soundtrack played whenever you played against a gargantuar level or when you were on a special level Also, the extra 10 levels were in the og game and they were called hard levels I think, they also got removed in the 2017 update The yeti was also removed in the 2017 update, originally he could appear in any level and once you kill him you’d get the yeti lunch box. It’s really sad that they removed a lot of great things but it’s nice to see wolfy play the game with all the removed things included

I've been playing this mod myself and it's a load of fun. It's also consistently challenging, but not to a point where it becomes frustrating. I'm very happy Wolfy's made this a series and I hope he sticks with it until the end.

For conveyor levels, the less plants you stock up, the faster you get them. So it's recommended you spam plants as much as possible.

Noticed something while watching this: the peas that were set on fire apparently has a little bit of splash damage. This was the case in pvz1, but not in vanilla pvz2. Glad they give it splash in this mod.

tip: put your sunflowers in the frontline so you don't lose your damage dealing plants, and sunflowers are less costly to lose then stuff like repeater or lighting reed

You can buy power ups which were p2w in the vanilla, starting with 100 sun or getting a fifth plant food is really useful.

Here's a little tip. Check out the shop often, you can buy new plants for gems you don't have yet, cool costumes and even power ups like an extra sun boost or seed slot.

If you put your sun producers in front of damage dealers, your damage plants won't be killed as quickly, letting you take out zombies earlier. Also, Sun Bean got buffed a lot in this mod, so it's a very good plant to bring. It's basically instant sun. You can even get more sun per use than Goldbloom if you put it on a buckethead, not to mention the effect can stack.

Tip for Wolfy - put your sunflowers bin front of your defences. Not only does it give your defence a stronger fighting chance but it also makes use of that primal sunflower health buff

I really enjoyed this video! I missed the pvz2 series originally and I think it’s cool to have a pvz2 series that’s getting episodes every so often. Anyway I also like how your playing refloushed since no other lets players have played it except for no commentary channels, the refloushed mod is really cool to and has so many new levels and balance changes, it’s crazy how the team made the game at all as they have to rework so much and make new levels that are balanced with the balance changes in mind. Anyway my final thing to say is that wolfy is really funny in his videos and I enjoy his sense of humour.

In case you haven't noticed, but a another plant that got a nerf that wasn't mentioned is Fire Peashooter. It got a price increase. You can also use the coins you have to buy the following: +1 Seed Slot (80k) +1 Plant Food Slot (80k) +25% Sun Refund When Shoveling Up Plants (50k) +25 Starting Sun (60k)

All premium plants might be given to you every world has a knight variation And unreleased plants that should’ve made it to pvz2 might be in this but that is highly unlikely Also they added other bosses And frost pea can chill enemies and has a chance to freeze enemies I suggest using it or other frozen plants

Damn i didnt even know you werent supposed to play the later levels only after you have gotten more plants i did levels 26 - 31 with only egypt and early pirate plants it felt so unfair sometimes since I literally didnt have any good plants for 2 of the levels best one i had for 31 was Bloomerang but it did no damage to the gargantuas and there was no plant food to deal more damage (the level has constant Graves spawning)

Yo Wolfy Idk if you’re gonna see this but Steam Ages (one of the two new worlds) is actually from PVZ2’s Chinese version, which is pretty much an entirely different game from the international version we’re familiar with. Kinda interested in seeing you check it out one day. There’s a KZbinr called Flag Zombie that describes how the new plants, zombies and worlds work, you might find it interesting :)

Dear Cameron "Wolfy" Playz, If you wish to steam roll this world, I have a plant selection just for you. Twin sunflower (got faster recharge), moonflower, dusk lobber, grim rose and shadow shroom These plants when used together bust the game so hard You need the twins in the very back Then skip a row and place a row of moonflowers Then put dusk lobbers (or grimroses if necessary) into the boost spots And use poison shroom to counter pyramid heads and the like

Funny nuff. Sun Shroom may just be the best sun producer in the game. The nerfs PSF got uh. You need to get a falling sun before being even able to put it down, just like TSF, so its just a worse TSF considering it produces less sun slower. And sun shroom only got a endurance nerf and thats all.
