if we had an Indian dealer closer to us... I'd probably be riding one now. Good on 'em for bringing a cheaper entry that still has the goods.

Which Indian you think that would be?

@IronBornRider the big one... Challenger? Dark Horse? Something like that... touring bike.

For Indian to come in at that $10k price mark for entry into the cruiser line up. I think that’s pretty good, considering a Honda Rebel 1100 is about $500 cheaper. ($9500 no DCT). I hope Indian brings in a lot of new riders. Quick question did they mention about changing the frame on the 60 similar to what they did to the new bigger Scouts? If so that may open up a lot more customization for the bikes in the future 🙂🏍️👍

I agree, it’s at a really good price point. It’ll have the same frame as the other scouts which is exciting.

I hope this bike really sells well and succeeds. Indian is doing everything that harley should be doing. Well done Indian.

I think Indian went the easy route by re-launching the Scout 60. I think they would have been better going down to a 750cc classic looking model which would be in line with the current trend. Also the best selling style of motorcycle is an Adventure bike so I thought they may develop an FTR. Polaris needs to invest in it infrastructure and allow service garages to undertake warranty and service work not just dealerships. At the moment you have an average travel time of 2 - 3 hours to get to a dealership and at the minute in the UK we have dealerships closing so have a very limited choice as a customer to get the bikes serviced. Polaris have stated that they will not support independent garages.

A 750cc model would be interesting, the market seems to favor more affordable motorcycles right now. The triumph scrambler 400 is proof of that, it’s been a huge seller for triumph this year

When will the Scout 60's be available in dealerships?

From an article I read in motorcycle.com it should be later this month in November.

I wish I didn't have to go over 100 miles to get a dealer... I'd probably own some Indians.

Same. I had to go close to 150 miles to find a dealer that had what I wanted
