For everyone saying hes cocky, you cant be a top rider in the world and not be. Ive met him a handful of times at SX races and he is a very chill guy. Being cocky is part of the sport, you cant let your weaknesses show because thats how you lose championships.

I remember the days ken drove in germany when he was like 12-14. They let him drive with the adults because he was so god damn good that no kid could come near to him. He even often beat all the adults. For germany he is a outstanding talent in motocross. Sadly the sport is not popular here and even the best pros here can just live from motocross a short time with an average income. They love soccer here. The most winny and arrogant sportsman are in soccer...

No regular not-overconfident/arrogant person would hit those tracks like the real stars of this sport do. I can say from my experience that my speed-development (hardest thing to get better at in mx) came from the days my confidence was on top and the feeling that I was a rockstar on the bike. He should've stayed loyal with KTM tho, for sure.

Kenny has to stay uninjured. Too many injuries lately.......Roczen, Tomac, Poto, Canard, Dessale. Cairoli, Herlings (many top racers on the planet)
@keiannschyler9 жыл бұрын
halfasheep which one do you prefer, suspended but healthy or not suspended but just injured? just a question.. :)
@larzeric9 жыл бұрын
keiannschyler Well, depends on the injury. We want the riders to come back, as soon as possible. And fully recovered (some injuries never heal). Stewart is out for 16 months, so suspensions are bad too, but not in the same way. The guy is not in pain, and it's gonna be interesting to see what a 16-month offseason will do for him!
@channel1_channel9 жыл бұрын
Stewart is not getting any younger vs motocross either...yes....interesting indeed
@IvorThomas9 жыл бұрын
halfasheep I think it would be really interesting to see Stewart on a 2 stroke again. I saw him the last year he raced the Kawasaki 125 at Washougal and I hadn't been as impressed by a riders speed in a *long* time... like those old days watching Magoo dominate. Stewart seems better suited to a 2 stroke IMO. Isn't a 300cc legal in open class? Wouldn't it be competitive mechanically?
@keiannschyler9 жыл бұрын
Ivor Thomas what race are you talking about? he's a 450 rider. if he's allowed by the company to race in a 2 stroke, he should be in a 250. and why would suzuki allow him to race in a underpowered 250 2 stroke?

@randyblue17818 жыл бұрын
prob cause he has no reason to be cocky? he won one outdoor title. the leaders of the sport arnt cocky. is that the attitude you want the face of the sport to have. the greats were never cocky. look at rc, rv, rd, cr, all humble guys. those are the faces I want making a name for the sport. not a cocky guy that couldn't back it up. he won wat 2 motos in 2015. that's were being cocky gets you.

Roczen needed a change as in "I want to get out of Dungey's corner"
@randyblue17818 жыл бұрын
I don't agree. roczen made bad choices. he left ktm because of the bike yet all he did in 2015 was complain about his bike. ktm cane out with the new 450 and it's proved to be much better than the suzuki 450 in all comparisons. he also left alden baker who is without a doubt the best trainer in the sport. Ken wasn't willing to do everything it took to win titles and that's why he didn't win. Ken has so mush potential to be the best but until he is willing to sacrifice more than the best (dungey) then he will never be the best.
@Nickthepunk228 жыл бұрын
