I'm 68 years young, been riding for 49 years. Owned a 1980 CB750F supersport, bought new in 1980 and a handful of other bikes. My bike now is a 2013 red CB1100 and is my favorite bike ever. If you haven't changed out that seat yet, consider a Corbin seat, which is what I have. I can ride for DAYS with no discomfort! Other changes: dual PIAA superloud horns, LED headlight, highway pegs, USB charger and a few other things. Overall, a beautiful, smooth, fast, comfortable, well-handling icon. May very well be the last bike I ever own.

Great to see someone still reviewing the CB1100 and loving it for what it is, a beautifully built bike. I bought mine last year as it reminded me of the bike I would have loved to have owned in the 70’s but never did. They’re timeless and can’t wait to get out again once the temperature rises.

I bought the 2017 model. I previously owned the CB 1300 5 speed but I think this 6 speed is a much better bike. It’s well built too. Cleans up good after a bad weather ride. Comes with a centre stand so maintaining the chain is a breeze. A great all round bike that’s good for city riding and has the power to go distance. Thanks for the show.

I've owned a 93 cb750, and now have the 14 1100. The 1100 has way more power, but has vibration around 6-7k rpm; while the 750 is butter all the way through the redline. I love them both, the 750 really sings with the dual pipes when you give it the beans.

A lovely bike, I especially like the long gearing in 6th. My own Suzuki SV1000 is very busy by comparison and turning 5,000 RPM at an indicated 80 MPH. I have a Power Commander and a timing retard eliminator fitted, to get the best potential from the engine after dyno time and I hope you'll manage to get that damn speed limiter removed soon. It seems a bit crazy that an original 1969 CB750 K0 will top 120 MPH with ease, yet Honda chose to limit this fabulous machine. They're the same over here in the UK - political nannying nonsense but you're far away enough to not need to suck up to Europe ! Best regards from South Wales.

I'm looking to buy one. Exact same with 10k miles on it for $4500. Would you recommend it as a beginners bike? I'm not looking for speed or anything. Just want it to be easy to ride. I rode Honda rebel 500 and found it very easy. Would say it's the close enough?
@motomikeyoutube Жыл бұрын
I don't think I'd reccomend it as a beginner bike to be honest. It's not a sportbike however it is very torquey and because of that it can be somewhat unforgiving on rough surfaces, low speed accel, and wet conditions depending on your tires and skill level. It also has no traction control, antiwheelie, abs (unless you get the delux) so you have to be comfortable and confident with it. It's a smothbike and if you already know how to ride I'd say go for it but if you have next to no experience on 2 wheels I'd look elsewhere.
