my favorite trick with those old fwd cars, i live up in Canada, when it is slushy you drive towards your buddy with speed, then dump the car into reverse, the huge rooster tails of slush coming out from the front , can be aimed by steering, lol, I haven't seen Warren in 40 years, but i sure buried him good.

The band l was in bought a 70' (?) Eldo convertible for the hell of it that was as new still in the early 80's. We'd set out to buy a van. We drove that car coast to coast with our box truck for a decade plus. Sadly it was stolen and parted out by the time they found 'Goldie'. Someone had ordered it w/ every option available. And FT, lm 61 yr.s old as well and can tell lifes been good to you. ;) Just they way you can still squat down on your knees and pop up is a testament to this. Love the channel.

I had a 1975 Eldorado convertible and loved it. Wasn't good on gas, but was great in snow.

I believe one of the first American , mass produced front wheel drive cars was a "Cord" from the 30s(?) Olds Toronado was FWD back in 1966 too.

I always thought it be cool to see you build a fast lightweight version of the farm truck.
@t0ph3rstreams13Ай бұрын
I think it would be cool to get the 1st gen Sonoma or s-10 and make it look like the farm truck! With the same power to weight ratio as farm truck or more power to make it the same as or faster in the end! That would be cool 😎 in my opinion. Then they could trick people into a race with one then have the other truck show up instead and act like it's the same truck! Act like you have no clue what they are talking about 😂! After the race, make the other truck reappear! It will be unnerving to have the truck keep changing on them!😂 I think it would be a nice trick to do on some people.

@FarmtruckandAZN How about "Flipside" for a name? If you leave the doors attached to each drivers side door frame, and leave the internal parts of the doors alone until it gets to the rear window moulding (instead of cutting the doors in half in the middle) you can merge the two doors together without modifying the windos mechanisms at all... This will also make it so the door on the drivers side opens normally and the door on the opposite side appears to be a suicide-door... This will also allow you to use the passenger side B-pillars to mount the door latch like a normal door latch would... This will make for less work in the long run as well...

What’s really wild is that if one driver puts it in drive and the other puts it in neutral and then they both turn left then it’s going to crab walk Or could be a really tight circle doughnut machine of which only Azian has experienced ala NOS jet chair.

Just take the cab and spin around and back glass will be your windshield. And keep engine under hood but reverse it. Keep bed normal spot. And you will have suicide doors instantly. Just a idea i had. Have a good en.

You be wrong about Cadillac being the first front-wheel drive it was an old tornado 66 and it's a turbo 400 built backwards no driveline and instead it's bolted to the front differential directly

still think doing a "suicide door" on the "passengerside when looked at from each driverside " of the truck would be nicest , that way each driver has a door that opens normally even would have a stock outer hande , it just be in a weird place on the door , i think you can adapt the stock doorlatches by crafting them in the back/frontside of the other cab and leave most of the inner doorskin intact on each drivers side door the latch part of the doorjamb can be fitted intoo the hinge section of the other cab most of the work would be do get the rearpart of the door with the latch to work on the front / hinge part of the other trucks front and getting the catch pin in the right spot in the doorjamb as for the frontwheel drive gear , gmc did used the transmission in a verry populair motorhome en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_motorhome
