My goodness, that design is so complicated with all the pipes that have to be boxed in. The team has done fabulous work, as always.

Another super days work Darren and guys, all ready for the slump. Great vlog, stay well.
@chrishyde5995Ай бұрын
nice job mate, but where we are you can no longer put stakes in the footings as level pegs, you can only put cut-off re=bar at the level sticking out the side of the footing side, plus do you need re-bar and mesh in the footing to?

Some graft from you & the boys Darren. Rest up, good luck with the conny 2moro then an early dart. Looking good though 👌

It’s good that the ground was loamy. It was still hard work but clay would have been so much harder. Well done guys👏

Please buy a lump/club hammer. It’ll be easier and quicker than knobbing about. They are cheap as chips 😀

if any of those pipes leak down the line would it cause problems with the footings? great work btw

Had to come back to this one. Those fateful comments “a nice easy day tomorrow”. “Concrete coming nice and early” and “an early finish” Sorry, had to smile. 😊 😅

I’m not sure that shuttering is going to hold up…
@darrenthebuilderАй бұрын
Why do you doubt it?
@ProSpaseАй бұрын
@@darrenthebuilder I had to go back and check as well. The 45 degree shuttering probably won't hold because the angle. It will collapse under the force of the concrete column or swing open a bit. I think you need to add supporting braces that are perpendicular to the boards in addition to those at 45 degrees. Also you will need to drive some pins inside the void to prevent from swinging open like a door and let concrete in. Just my thoughts. Enjoy watching your content btw!

Yo, why u make it hard work... just take a level with a laser from your floor height or ground... adjust it for footing height depending on floor type. Then pour concrete to height, tamp it off and done... you could also just walk round footing with spray paint and a lever and mark it for a guide first... ot of its rocket science...
@y.lelivelt2619Ай бұрын
Darren is a very good teacher. He wants the boys to work hard and without any modern things like a laser. He wants them to do a job like in the old days.
