New Coilovers + Chuckwalla Track Day Shakedown! || Project Civic Si Part 26

FINALLY some new shocks for Project Civic Si. Trying out a set of custom-valved Shaftworks USA coilover shocks with Swift springs, 600lb-in fronts and 1,000lb-in rear. Time to hit the track!
Car setup:
2010 Honda Civic Si FA5
- Stock K20Z3 engine/transmission
- Shaftworks coilovers
- Stoptech C43 BBK
- 245/215 Nexen SUR4G tires
Alignment: -4 camber F, -3 camber F, 0 toe all around

Hi bro i just wanna ask for something Ive got ep1 1.4 no rust, moded exhaust manifold and final damper, short shifter, all type r body kit (oem) and new springs Thats my first car but its a little bit slow, I love this car and dont know what to do Swap, turbo, supercharger or sold and buy something better... I bought it for 1000€ in DE - left steering wheel I like this car so freaking much Would u tell me ur opinion mate? Sorry for bad eng cuz im still learning it bro

Good stuff. Lots of time left once you get comfy with the setup. How do the 1000lbs rear springs feel on the freeway?

The ride is definitely very stiff, but with the shocks turned down it's tolerable to drive to/from the track.

Over it. Picked up some RE71R until I find a longer term solution.

@@DriveBreakFixRepeat honestly, that's why I went NT01 fronts. I know they're slower than RE71R, but I opted for them due to longevity and will save me money in the long run lol!

Love these videos! I have an 09 Si Sedan completely stock and untouched and I am wanting to turn it into a nice daily/track car if possible. I have raced with SCCA for 15+ years and did mainly autocross but got into Hot Lapping and Spec Miata stuff here and there. I have always raced Miata's but I traded my car a couple of years ago and purchased the 09 Si in October 2020 and am excited to build it. This gives me a lot of inspiration. Thank you!
