Awesome! Your initial driving impressions are exactly the same as mine when I installed new ridetech shocks on my C4. Less brake dive and oscillation after bumps. Clearly my old shocks were blown as well lol.

Nice! I love my koni/ground control setup for the civic, f400#, r450#. Even with the extended top hats, I feel the system lacking. Was going to try AMR coilovers this race season, but might look into these S3 coilovers instead!

I contacted S3 and they recommended me 10k front 8k rear for a daily driver ek civic, I thought those rates were a little crazy and I didn't reply, but after watching this I actually think those rates would be just fine on mostly soft dampers. They know Hondas better than I do, I should have trusted them a bit more.

one question because we are fellow 2zz mr2 owners. how the carbon fiber hood affect handling of the car? if its too light it became trouble and you must use downforce to your odds. i try to make car with only functional stuff not for looks but still streetable because daily driven:) big fan of techno pro spirit hellmachine mr2:)

I seemed to hear some creaking from the chassis at slow speeds when in the parking lot. Did the car do that before the coilover change too? I was wondering if it might be from the pillowball mounts transferring more noise. I cannot imagine running 7/12. I currently run 5/7 on my 2ZZ Spyder but yours looked good on the curvy road at the end. I will be interested to hear your impressions when you can do autoX and track it again.

@@TougeTime I am not saying you cannot run springs that stiff. I know some guys run incredibly stiff springs on the street. I am saying that I could not imagine doing it and be comfortable performance driving on roads and streets. Tracks are one thing but on the street, I need some compliance in the suspension to deal with the unforeseen. It looks like you got it adjusted to a place where it is comfortable for you but my body is a lot older than yours. LOL

Yeah not true. I've hit 1.5g peak in rare situations on AR-1s with aero, with much larger wheels and tires. I am using the stock oiling system on the 1ZZ and don't have issues, but I'm also not caring if it blows up.
