My F405wing is on delivery, and then I'll have full combo of speedybee controllers. The company has a good customer needs insight, decent quality (once I burnt a motor, not Esc) and amazing price tag.

Good to see TVS diodes but it's worth pointing out they don't remove all electrical noise, they just put a cap on the level that the voltage can reach. It's a 10 cent part, great to see it included. Looks like they are using SMAJE30A I'm not 100% sure it's that part but the markings do match up and the characteristics are what would be typical here - it starts clamping at 33.3-36.8v depending on the tolerance of the part you receive, and maxes out at 48.4V check datasheet for full spec of course but gives an idea.

Nice big components, will give some space for trials and mistakes. My AIO Foxeer Reaper 2, built from components tiny like dust, has roasted for no obvious reason.

I wonder if this ESC will pop a FETT just as fast as it's 30x30 brother.. Mine did, while just plugging in a Lipo. had a minor crash, checked the quad, motors etc.

I have the F405 V3. My F405 V3 doesn't work properly with iNav. The virtual 3d model on the setup screen either moves very slowly with no yaw or goes crazy even after calibration. I tested 2 new boards. They work perfectly fine with betaflight, though. Any idea what the issue might be?

for someone that wants to tinker, not really into fast quads, but maybe more for research stuff, would the 405 mini stack be good. I want to play around with doing photo/video from a quad and also having it do some autonomous around my property to do footage of my fences for some opencv work. Does it have additional outputs other than stuff like the LEDS that can be used for other things? like say... release the water balloon? lol

ArduCopter document website lists the "Speedy Bee F4 V3" (30x30 pcb), but not the "SpeedyBee F405 Mini" (20x20) stack. The "SpeedyBee F405 WING" is listed. Expect the Mini might be added in future, as it also has F405, but better to be a bit patient before ordering, as it could take a month or so as the ArduPilot firmware just updated. The larger (30x30) SpeedyBee has some PWM outputs to control a servo, but not seeing anything mention in the Mini documentation. It does have 4 UARTs, so it may be possible to use on if into electronics tinkering to control something mechanical.

Which is the best FC now to use in a vTol Heewing T1 now ?. I have an F405se but would like to use in something else as it has limited Servo outs.
