@@NutrigrainHulk Yeah that's what I would assume... they would just use a different plastic that is reserved for their Evolution line... But that doesn't mean that the other blend can't be just as great as this new C-Line!

Been eager to try the C-Line plastic for this. I've always loved using the C-line for approach and upshots. That tiny bit of slippery grip helps me release it better. My main putter is still the D-Line P2 though. My hands are pretty big so a regular putter never worked for me. The beefier feel for the P2 is perfect for my hands.

Good review! Only thing I would suggest is flight trackers for your throws since it can be hard to see the discs when you throw them.

Great video! You should look at the Infinite Disc Alpaca, it is a very similar mold to the P2 and they also just released a metal flake c blend Alpaca which might be similar to the sky god?

Your experience with the Luna matches mine. I have a McBeth 2020 tour series one in Big Z plastic and it flies more like a 3 3 0 1 than 3 3 0 3 disc. I also had the Prototype/First Run version in Special Blend plastic and it flew more like 3 3 -1 1 to me. I'm certainly not complaining, however. It's a great throwing putter.

Well I'm a little late to the game but I finally broke and bought a Sky God on the restock. I too have been curious about how it will stack up to my Lunas. I got a pretty good idea from this video. Thank you! I think it's a bit of an understatement when you say you like to throw your Luna. Yours came from one of the more stable runs and it flies like this year's ESP Fierce. 😉 You put some mileage on that thing for sure. I don't blame you though, they're that good!

If you like those you need to pick yourself up a Quantum Omega4, its the original P2 mold in champ plastic aka the original Sky God, or the Metal Flake Glow C-Blend Alpaca also the same disc.

Yeah, I have heard those are the same old mold! Those are great! Infinite always makes the craziest plastic blends they can out of what Innova has, I love it!

Yeah… I’m not sure if they will try and make something like that in the future! Who knows. I know Trilogy has made a retro line of plastic… so maybe they could do something like that and try and make a blend more like Innova’s DX plastic

I have 2 zones. I can't seem to throw either. The depth of the lip seems to slip out of my hands. Do you have any suggestions on a "deeper" lip approach or putter? Many thanks. Love your content.

I think the Harp would be the closest to stability with a deeper rim. The Socki Bomb slammers are deeper, but they are significantly more overstable. The Tactic would be another good option! that may be a little less overstable, but if you get a premium plastic one that would be close. and even better, if you get a Razer Claw 2 version, I believe that one was retooled to be a little more overstable for Eagle.

My favorite putter right now is an innova dx aviar putt & approach. How close is the sky god to that disc?

The Sky God is definitely more overstable. and the rim feels deeper. because the original P2 was just an aviar mold with a space put in making it a touch deeper, and in tern making the wing more blunt and a touch more overstable. and the new P2 is even more blunt and overstable that the original P2! It's kind of funny to me because there are a lot of people who dog on the Aviar putt & approach, but everyone raves about the Old P2/Alpaca/Omega when that is literally the same mold just with a spacer... lol

Yeah... I have the same problem... That's why I use Lunas, nice and shallow for my small hands! But these are so good for those with bigger hands or who don't mind the deeper profile!

What’s the max weight on these? I’ve seen people say 175/176/178.

The heaviest I have is 176g, I believe that should be the heaviest. Any heavier and I believe it would have to have a wider diameter closer to a midrange diameter. But most of mine are 175! I only have 1 or 2 that are 176

Oh it's definitely not as overstable ass a Tactic or a Zone! It's just a tick more overstable than a fresh D-Line!

I mean, I believe they have been making their own blends of Trilogy's plastic. Like this C-Line wasn't really used by trilogy until Discmania started making it. Then that's when Trilogy started having their lucid ice plastic! This C-Line is much stiffer imo than what Trilogy has had for years, especially in a putter mold! It's not as stiff as their Lucid-X plastic, but comparing stock to stock before the C-line came out, this was more stiff than what Trilogy has previously used. So not quite the same! I believe Discmania is still responsible for how their plastic comes out, even with their Evolution line. Lat64 might be manufacturing it, but Discmania has been using different blends of the plastic than trilogy has been using for their discs!
