Thank you for your awesome reviews. Went to Total Tools and got an Ego (eGo?) mower and line trimmer because of this review. 👍

I think I can remember cutting grass and what it looks like. Nice to see some in your videos. In my part of Qld we haven't had rain in months and have not cut grass in all that time. If I had a small block and if I had any grass those mowers look the business. One day it will rain and grass may come back then I get to play with the tractor and slasher once more.

Great FULL review guys! I’m thinking of getting the smallest push version for my small lawn (15m x 10m) which may be overkill, but I’d rather buy once and have the machine last. You only need to look on Amazon and all the negative reviews for the other cheaper brands.

Do you guys know the W/kW or torque of these mowers? I can't find it anywhere, and it's one of the most important specs. I emailed Ego and they told me they don't know. I'm shocked at that answer, truly astounding they don't know the specs of the machines they are trying to sell.

I’ve been running an ego blower, mower and line trimmer because of these guys review. Honestly, they’re right, if you have a lawn that takes you half hour or so to do, get an ego. YOU WILL NOT GO BACK.

First of all, I absolutely love your videos and reviews. You guys are always straight up to the points. Very well described, no pre written scripts n all. I have got few of the Ego tools and they are absolutely cracking tools! With ego having more high amp hour batteries are very tempting. I can’t stand fuel fumes and these are the best solution to fumes issues. Once my situation allows i am actually thinking to invest heavily with them as i have had very good experience from their tools and yes i bought them after watching your reviews. ☝️ Ego, you guys gotta look after these gems. Well Done Boys. Keep up the good work!👍🤙

Great review as always, right on about not being scared of plastic, having said that i did blow a hole clean through the only plastic on my AEG 58v lawn mower which is the side discharge flap but i was doing a scarify cut and may have hit a sizeable rock. How is the quality of cut? I it worth the extra coin as i purchased the makita 2x18v steel deck mower you reviewed as a kit with 2'5.0ah batteries for $500 and wondered how much apart from nicer adjustments and annoying handle thinging were different for the extra coin. Think the deck size is right between these two units.

ill have to ask Mike about the cut quality. thanks Phil

just bought the non propelled model. mowed over grown Lawns one pass over at highest setting with bag and second pass with mulch. performed better than my ryobi self propelled petrol and had life left in the battery when finished 2 passes

Like you, l do have a few mowers, and l have a ryobi electric 32v. It is handy for different jobs, but the big thing is when the battery dies they cost heaps.

I wouldn't worry to much about battery life, ive had mine for 8 years, in the uk, used it yesterday, buy extra battery cheap on ebay or were ever. I have 3, all 5amp. I run until the mower cuts off, then charge my battery back up, keep them in the house so at a constant temperature. Still managed to cut the whole front and rear gardens on one battery as it did when new.

Only 1 very big bare with mowers, the unlock lever for push bar is low and on the outside. It is very easy to lightly tap against something and the push bar drops immediately. The rest is designed so well and ego let this "slip" past QA.

I don't think Ego is giving Australians a fair go. Not only do they not sell the improved Select Cut XP model in Australia, the don't include the extra blades and side chute with the Select Cut like they do in the USA.

Thanks. Do you know anything about when Ego is coming out with their first robot lawnmower? Robot lawnmowers have been available since 1995. In my country, most homeowners who buy a new mower nowadays seem to buy a robot lawnmower to never push a lawnmower again. Owners become so attached to their robot lawnmowers that a survey here has shown that 1/3 of them even get named by the owners like some robot pet. Husqvarna has a reputation for having by far the best robot lawnmowers according to tests like European consumer organization tests, but also by far the most expensive ones it seems.

EGO 21 inches And I have the new ones 7.5 amp battery 🔋 I never bag or having issues not cut or stop the mower:) but I have couple problems :( 1. The mower is too lite :( 2. the mower is too small :( 3. A problem with the batteries it freezes or won’t charge and one last that long with 7.5 A only 5000 ft.² yards you can cut:( 4. And I have fescue grass I cut like 4.5 inches :) and when I cut the grass front wheels Digs grass in and i’m on second day that grass raise up and you can see the stripes tall :( 5. The mower it’s sow light one pass can float on top of the grass second pass can go down with the same settings you can see the difference :( 6. The mower is so tiny I have 1600 square-foot yard taking me one hour and a half to finish with one pass if I’m doing double pass takes over two hours :( and you have to do a double pass because of those stripes :( because of the tiny wheels digs that grass in :( oh and it doesn’t have an enough suction to suck the grass back out with the blades :( 7. Not enough RPMs or not enough vacuum to lift the grass up from the ground. :( 8. The bottoms for self propel the end of the cutting your yard you have hands A Ssort they’re too tiny and you have to squeeze the hands too tight :( EGO Mower they need to fix dthese issues :(

Mihail, I don't think your comment is fair at all. EGO mowers are about the most ergonomic on the market. And you can hardly complain about the size, given that you know exactly how big it is when you buy it. I've never heard anyone complain about a mower bring too light! It sounds to me like you are either: a) in dire need of a blade sharpen, or b) expecting far too much from the mower
