You make it look very simple. You should have mentioned the Remote ID error and how to fix it. It took me a while to figure it out, it was such a pain in ass!!!

nice development to have goggles2 use for the dji camera drones. is there a chance where you can still fly the mini3 pro using the basic DJI RC-N1 along with the goggles2? this way you still have full control of real sticks ang gimbal roller. the wonky motion controller just doesn’t click everyone’s buttons.

Once more I’d like to thankyou for another awesome video (this one of course is the reason I just purchased a Mini 3 Pro and the head tracking video 2). Holy smokes what an ordeal to get everything up and working! Just got my Mini 3 Pro today…… linking and getting everything up and going wasn’t easy. For those of you that might be experiencing some issues, I’ll share my experience. *I have a mini 2 (love it 2) and thankfully I have the RC N1 because I needed it to update and register my Mini 3 Pro! I followed the process of updating all components (drone, goggles 2 and motion controller 2) then I tried to link them and I kept get my Avata screen (very frustrating). I traced my steps and tried to link several times restarting app and was able to link them all. I even started it up an had signal in the goggles but display said unable to remote ID and then another message about unlinking other remote (RC N1) or I would only be able to use my controller 4 times. Well, damn…..I was really getting in a mess. So……I did what any tech savy drone operator would do…….I deleted the app and reloaded it from scratch and guess what…..wha Lah….. the app started doing what it was supposed to do and I flew it in my living room without a glitch (BTW, I never fly indoors w/o blade guards 🙂). I can’t wait to fly it tomorrow…..reminds me of my Mavic Pro days with the big white goggles. I had head tracking then too plus a lot of other features, but this has come a long way in technology advances and hopefully will continue to improve as well!

I have it working with my DJI RC that shipped with the classic. Do all the connection steps, once you see video in your goggles, turn them off and take off like you would normally, then turn goggles on. You will get an error in the lower right corner, but has no effect on flight.

I am sure you have already discovered it by now but I noticed that you were going into the menus by pressing on the goggles. Hopefully you discovered that you can do the same thing by pushing in on the scroll wheel on the motion 2 controller.

I had to choose between the Mini 3 Pro and Avata for my first drone. I did buy the prop guards for flying indoors, but it made the Mini 3 very unstable. Also, I won't feel comfortable flying the Mini 3 in FPV inside buildings. But this is still awesome. Would really love to try this combo.

I have the Avata with Googles 2 and just last week procured the Motion Controller 2. I have mini 3 pro. I don't have a m3 as my Air2s surficed for my needs. Now with m3 Pro released, I intend to get it in the next few weeks. Is the Integra Googles worth upgrading to, or is it really a cross grade?

Please let us know if the Mini 3 pro can be flown with the stock controller (with screen) while using the goggles. In other words, will the flight be displayed on the stock controller screen as well as in the goggles. Dual view would be very helpful in certain applications.

To the naked eye....the video looks smooth while flying with head tracking.....but from my experience.....i get many small jerks in my videos when i enable head tracking ....specifically with the Mavic 3 classic and mini 3 pro....have you ever tried recording with headtracking on and reviewing the footage...? Any small random jerks in your videos...while head tracking is enabled...?

No linking for me. Tried to use the new integra goggles with my Mavic 3 cine. Seems like the software update necessary to link has removed the ability of any controller (phone w/dji fly, goggles/RC Pro and mini 2 controller with phone) to see my drone. DJI told me after a couple of hours of troubleshooting to "Take it to the Apple Store/ because it is a problem with the controller." (Yes I saved a screenshot of that craziness). So I am waiting for a higher level call back from their support team or am stuck with mailing it in for the arduous task of having someone with some real knowledge who can fix this. If anyone reads this and has any fixes I would greatly appreciate the advice!! And thanks, @FlytPath for your excellent video!

Exactly. For now it's a bad value proposition, being limited to the motion controllers and locked into FPV mode with the Mini 3 Pro. Way too expensive to be that limited. Otherwise i would buy a pair of googles today.

DJI let me know they've changed the logic and folder/file naming conventions their Mavic 3 Pro uses. I had asked why I'm unable to transfer photos and video I shoot with the Mavic 3 Pro from its SD card to my iPad Pro 11". While the SD card from the Mavic 3 Pro is readable on my MacBook Pro that doesn't do me any good because I tend not to take the laptop with me when I practice my drone photography hobby. Are you aware of their folder/file naming change? Got a workaround that doesn't involve me hauling a computer around with me? Thank you.

I suspect the drone compatibility has to do with the transmission technology, the goggles & motion controllers use ocusync 3 pro while mini 3, air 2s, etc. use older version protocols. but then the original dji air unit also doesn't use O3 pro and yet is supported, so Im not 100% sure on this theory either
