Swap out the ESC for a Hobbywing 16BL30 and it's like a whole new truck. I've bought 3 different models of these rc vehicles. They're just so fun and amazingly well built for what you pay. BTW the delay is with the ESC, not the receiver.

Hi, I would like to ask you for some explanation about ESC and battery delivered with the car. How is it possible that there is an ESC 45A and the battery can have only 1,05 x 25C= 26,25A maximum. how is it possible that it it doesn't burn?🙂

@@ondrej3934 The amp rating on the ESC is just what it can handle. Doesn't mean it will always pull 45 amps. The battery in this sense is the bottleneck so it will get a bit warm but it doesn't hurt anything

You can just put a bit of stiff foam underneath that battery clip to keep the stock battery in place after you trimmed it for a bigger battery.

You should beabke to use your own reciever and transmitter dude but I don't think you'll have the gps function. Not sure about programming the esc sorry 😐

I just got the same car with the 3s 7.4V 1050mah battery. What is a good battery upgrade with more mah that will fit? Does it also have to be 7.4V?

Great video Matthew. I've just bought one of these, but am considering letting my young kids loose with it. Could it work with lower voltage Nimh batteries to make it easier to manage and slow it down?

Hey dude! That's a great idea and exactly what I did haha. The kids love them! I'm not to sure about the Nimh batteries however I'm pretty sure you can adjust the speed on the radio. However, depending on their age, they might find that button haha 😄

Kinda nice, but I guess I need to wait a bit longer then. Have a bad experience with banggood. Ordered two HBC 901a there, one came with a broken tire and the support made it to week 4 without a real solution. Won't spend any more money there... At least at the moment

You vid and enthusiasm is fine, it's just your sound is letting you down, you need to get a wind sock and proper mic as the wind really does ruin your sound. You're an Aussie so Rhodes do mics for phones that will help. I should be buying one of these tomorrow, subbed.

I am ordering my brushless 16208 with 1 2S battery tonight from eBay for $145, I will buy some better 3S known brand that I know will fit once I get the car. I simply cannot get any better value @ that price, and it's dog friendly with out the metal bumper like the 16207 has. I also want bigger wheels for the park and as high as possible for the clearance. Just need to wait now.

If I like this one and think I'll actually spend time driving them... I've narrowed down my next level RC to sledge and/or xrt.

Much faster! Both are great options, the brishless doesn't cost much more so it's definitely worth going straight for the brushless model
