Two things I'm proud of at 23 years old. 1st thing, I paid off my house cash. People at work give me a hard time about that and say my parents bought me the house. They said there is now way a 23 year old can pay off a house cash. 2nd thing, I did really well in stocks during Covid, bought the right stocks, and used part of the money to pay my house cash.

If you ever have heaps of left over herbs again, chop them up and then put them in ice cube trays, fill them up with olive oil, and then when you're cooking something needing the basil you add the oil cube to the pan and it means you can just slowly use the basil up!

The glowscreen is awesome. You HAVE to try Alastin Hydratint. It's a tinted sunscreen and it's incredible and I don't have to wear any foundation or concealer with it but it looks like I am!

Seeing as you like salmon, you should try it with mustard and brown sugar on top. Just slather a bit of mustard on the fish, sprinkle with brown sugar (and some salt & pepper) and then bake or air fry it. By far my favorite way to eat salmon.

The thing I am most proud of is actually following my dream and passion. I grew up in a tiny country town and since I was 5 I said I was going to study Marine Science. A lot of people didn't believe me or said I would study agriculture or go into a medical field or teaching. I am proud I stuck to what I wanted to do and didn't let anyone influence me otherwise. I am proud to say I am 22 and 6 months into my PhD working in marine science and mathematics. I have made sacrifices (mainly social life) to get where I am and I couldn't be happier than where I am now. The other thing I am really proud of myself for is that I moved out of home at 17 for University and lived alone. Moved from a town of 3000 people to a city I didn't know anyone in.

Video editing can take up a good amount of resources when exporting your file. FCP was more for Hollywood about 10 years ago and now they want to sell it to the consumers. They dumb it down. It's just a better version of iMovie. If I recall from a previous you made on your laptop, don't you have the M1 Max? That's a good processor. If you're doing basic edits, and no special effects, it shouldn't hog up all your resources unless you have other applications open while exporting your file edit. Do you have any other applications open while editing? It can slow down your laptop. I use FCP but not a fan of if. I prefer Avid Media Composer. Have you used Avid Media Composer?
