Would love to hear your impressions on the Major Craft glass rod if you’ve gotten around to using it.

Used it on the White River.......very soft action but has the backbone to land large trout in current. Best suited for spoons and cranks. Used the Varivas Double Cross PE line with it. A fun rod.

The Revo Spinning reel should be a quality reel for the price. The Double Cross line looks interesting, braided lines are my favorite, I may give it a try this year for deep vertical jigging. Good luck on your upcoming trips.

Double Cross PE is very good line. I’ve been using it on my spinning setups and it’s so smooth and knot resistant. I’ve ordered a few spools

Randy thanks for update. I would like to get a Revo MGX Theta 1000S. Can not find it here. Never ordered from Japan. On ebay lots of disclaimers about unforeseen tariffs when buying from Japan. Any chance of doing a “ how to” video on the ins and outs, purchasing tackle from the JDM ? Kinda confusing for me and maybe other first time buyers. Thanks

My lawn sucks full of weeds. And gets flooded in the back. I need to spend a bunch of money too but keep postponing it.. Hopefully we can hook up to fish somewhere, Randy. Maybe some of those lakes that are two hours west of me. I would make the drive if u want to meet there some time

While the Vanford is a fine reel it in no way compares to the Vanquish. If I had the money it is Vanquish for me.
