$18 million and $23 million for a gated community smack in the middle of Newlands known for gun violence? That contrast between the haves and have nots too stark for me. Well, people will buy it. I think its over priced. I remember when these houses started at $16.7 million and even then I was put off. It's too expensive for the area.

In Jamaica minimum wage earners don't stand a chance to own a house. The reality is that most people purchase through National Housing Trust, when you visit , hear what you qualify for it's shocking .Even when you join together you can't reach the qualify mark .it's so Sad.

I don’t know Portmore at all, some comments suggest it is a dangerous area known for violence. Sometimes when an area is going through regeneration developments like these are built to bring the area up. Maybe if this keeps happening the violence will have to move elsewhere as will not be tolerated. Lots of places were once undesirable and are now unaffordable just a thought 💭 🧐

Lovely house just put down on the ground without a step just waiting for the flood to pass through. They are so right to protect the strength of the house to stipulate how to build because the speed in which they were put down the concrete did not cure.

I went to view the models units here 2 to 3 years ago and it's still not sold off??? Meanwhile when Gore opened phase 4 in Oct 2021 it closed applications in less than an hour for those of us who were already on the waiting list lol. People are not gonna buy these, the prices and location dont match up so the developers will have to accept their losses and reduce these prices to at least 13m so that two nht contributors can purchase.
