I’m incredibly disappointed on the effort they put on this second facelift. They already saved enough money on not developing an entirely new hatchback, so the least they could’ve done is add more sound deadening around the door sills and made the car more quiet. Also, it now has the same headlights as the i30 N and now the N no longer looks unique from the front. They are also reflectors and not projectors which is also disappointing why they decided it was okay to use an average performance headlight on a high performance car. Do better Hyundai.

I am laughing here in the other side of the globe (Australia) because of how amazed you were at the smoothness of the air vents. I have the 2017 model (series 1 pre-facelift) and that is also one of the first things I noticed about the car. Interesting observation I made owning a Mazda CX-9 and the vents feel cheap and loose compared to the simple and humble i30. The Mazda vents would also creak while moving it around.

This type of cars i like, is for Romania roads, where you barely fit with a SUV. I run a Ford FIesta from 2017 as factory year.

In Australia it was always fully digital dash as standard from the 2020 version, the European lineup is very confusing. Some things you need to pay extra for in the top spec in Europe you get in Australia with the basic model

@@ExtremelyRandomStuff This is inaccurate. It wasn’t a fully digital dash. It was a half-assed partial digital dash with physical dials on each side. A far-cry from the fully digital experience in this i30.

Had some experience with the pre facelift dct 160 hp. It has a lot of torque with a flat torque curve. Because of this you dont notice any lag at all

Over 6 years ago this car came to the market. New headlights and grill is really lame. 16 inch wheels, seriously!? This was a standard 15 years ago! Competition is offering way more for the money, octavia is much better option (this is not anti korean car post, I'm driving cee'd, but koreans are kinda failing latley, prices are too high for what you get, I've also read alot about quality issues with the new kias)...

This is a middle of the range version.. you can get more options of you'd like. Ive seen the new N-line in reallife looks really complete and costs more ofcourse

Octavia is stil around 30% more expensive for almost same car. Luckely we bought the previous facelift. Now they reduced power output of engines so it dropped from 81kw to 71kw speaking of 1.5l NA.

​@@adampopovsky9305 it's not "almost the same car", it's bigger, had snappier engine, modern design, (in Croatia) equipment list is maybe not bugger, but more useful, more safety in standard equipment. Koreans get over 13% profit per i30/ceed, vw gets arround 9% per octavia, so much about who's stealing your money
