New June Nintendo Direct Rumors and Black Ops 6 Coming to Switch 2?

As we still wait for the magical June Nintendo Direct more rumors are starting to creep out about what we may expect to see during the event. Also reports of Call of Duty on Nintendo Switch 2 starting with Black Ops 6 next year. So we'll take a look at what hurdles it may have being put on the hybrid system.

Really depends on how modern of an NVIDIA chip they put it on, but we’ll have to wait and see

@@thatnintendoshow its an ampere chip with improvements made to it that give it some of the power efficiency of lovelace so relatively recent but not top of the line in an architectural sense not even a spec sense.

@@thatnintendoshow Nintendo always uses outdated hardware in their consoles to save money, but does some fun gimmick with them to make up for it. No exceptions. If you’re betting money on them to use modern hardware this time, you’re gonna lose your money man

@@WalnutWarrior7 oh yeah no I know they’re gonna put cheaper hardware out there compared to what we have now on other platforms. But if they can utilize that hardware to make it say on par with the PS4 Pro / Series S as has been rumored at least it stands a chance of getting more of these modern titles and being relative for a lot longer.

The file size of Black Ops 6 isn't 300GB+, that number includes MW2 and MW3...

Yeah it came out after I made the video that it included all the other games. So hopefully it won’t eat up as much memory on the next Switch as we’re expecting

I actually don't mind the CoD always online situation... at least they're TRYING to reduce the massive install size and have a reason. Many companies are requiring always-online for single player games anyway, but there's no reason at all for it. The physical versions come with next to nothing on them, and with a 300 GB install size, remember basic PS5's usable storage space is 625 GBs... This one games takes up half of a PS5's available storage! I don't even like CoD, but the only way Switch 2 is getting modern CoD titles is if streaming textures helps reduce install sizes. They will not print physical carts that can hold it, so the only other option would be Cloud (an no one wants that).

I actually saw an article a little bit ago that the 309GB was in fact including MW2, MW3, WZ, and all available language packs. So I assume that BO6 by itself will clock in around 100-120GB and that is much more manageable.

That storage for the new COD is horrrrible lmao. Really makes me wonder how the heck is Switch 2 going to get COD games in order to live up to the deal they have with Microsoft. My guess is maybe they'll port older ones mostly. Or make some kind of exclusive COD games that don't eat up your entire storage space lel. But yeah, just tragic on that front. And bless players on other platforms too.

I don’t know. They promised parity across all systems. So hopefully they have some solution involved. I think that if the 309GB includes all the COD HQ stuff then BO6 might have a much smaller install size on the Switch 2.

Black Ops has to come to Switch!! They signed a contract for it! Otherwise MS would break it! Then they would have to pay big royalities and the deal would have to be canceled again!!

Xbox's show was a 5/10. It was okay, nice that there was no wasted time on inclusivity crap. But most of what they showed was stuff that looked the same as everything else, and were 2025 or later lol. Not one thing from Xbox did anything for me. Doom I MIGHT get on Steam, if there is absolutely nothing else to get at that time. Sony's show was 3/10. A flop except for Astro Bot.
