Long time listener, first time caller. Moved to comment because of your incredible hair. I passed a Glossier brick and mortar this weekend and sniffed their two new fragrances. The plummy one was definitely very sweet and read as cloying to my nose, but the other was a very diffuse, gentle, milky sort of spice (like, a pot of horchata wafting through a wood-panelled house) It was very tempting and arguably yummier than the plum one. I’m nearly through my bottle of OG You which only smelled like pink pepper on me-sharp and biting and none of the skin-like warmth-so I think once it’s empty I’ll spring for the new fragrance instead.

this winter i am chomping at the bit for white and cream snow bunny! Your cozy white sweater intro hit the nail on the head for me! i’ve been a fan of all white/cream sexy snow outfits for a couple years now but it’s just now turning into a full blown obsession. especially the unconventional color combo of white with cream. I’ve been (mindfully) sourcing items to create a wearable “me” climate appropriate version of this look and by winter i’ll be ready :) in the same vein for makeup i’m loving retro pale, frosty pearly eyeshadow a la Celine from Heaven Sent Honey… with her thin retro editorial eyebrows it’s everything. Just bought the super shock The Business, an almost white chartreuse green. Wearing it all over the lids w a light touch of smudgy eyeliner. Want to see more icy winter takes in makeup, fashion and decor (more creative than boring icy highlights and old frosty lips tho, and more intruiging than traditional pink pastel christmas)

I've seen a review of those e.l.f. eyeshadows and Champagne Showers is a dupe for Urban Decay's Space Cowboy. I’m definitely doing cool brown lips in the day-to-day-warm tones go horribly orange on me so I’ve been so into all of these. 1990, Ami Cole excellence, etc. But I (fair, med/dark brown hair) am really looking forward to a cool super vampy lip with an otherwise nearly bare face. I love a monochromatic look. Every day I just want one color all over my face, eyes, lips and cheeks (and then just top with some sheer shiny stuff on cheeks and lids for evening). It's minimalistic and striking at the same time in a way. I love the look of it aswell as the idea of it being effortless and chic. I am forever on the hunt for the perfect product for this: a cream, the perfect color of brown, a formulation that works all over the face and isnt to slidey, to sticky, to shiny, to sparkly, to stiff, to silicony etc. And I found it in the form of a Linda Hallberg lipstick called sepia but they changed the color so now it's more rosy, pretty but not the same neutral brown😢

Oh my gosh, I can relate to bundling up like a winter creature despite only one chill in the air! I’m predicting my make up this holiday season will be dark eyes (sparkly black, midnight blue or brown), amber peach cheeks and ballet pink lipstick. Last year I leaned heavily into dark, muted colors in fashion. This year, in both makeup and clothes, I want lighter, but still muted colors. I just bought the Fenty whatabrat blush.
