Have the 2012 slk with 87,000km but its performance is still top notch. I am never selling it.

My Old SLk 200 did 243, 000 miles. Never let me down, I still miss it, The only reason i parted with it because i wanted to Upgrade to SLK AMG Model. I'm not fond of the SLC Model.

Thanks Thomas! A great review as always.. The new name SLC puzzles me because we have seen a coupe version of the SL (Baureihe 107) named SLC before in the 70's which was then replaced by the SEC coupe (Baureihe 126) in 1982. It's a bit confusing to me at least because I happen to like the old Mercedes very much.

Why the hell would they change the SLK to SLC?! It also doesn't look as sporty as all previous SLKs anymore. Disappointed!

I'm sorry, but the car looks too dated for me and not luxurious enough for a Mercedes, even if it is the small young brother of the SL. BTW, I also prefer the SLK name. What the C in SLC stand for? Is the car no longer short (Kurz)?
