New MG eHS 2024 Review

Greetings from Serbia, I bought an older version of the MG HS in December, which only runs on gasoline, without a panorama and a 360 camera, I am quite satisfied, I tried it in the mountains of Serbia and Montenegro, the fuel consumption was about 6-6, 5 l. Great video!

I think a lot of people expect the perfect car. I have never driven the perfect car. Even the best cars have their weaknesses. I think the MG is the best overall value for money.

Mg china , sent them without electric sunroof and impressive looking contrasting colour interior, must be that only 1st world countries like , Croatia, serbia and Romania receive these extras , even though they pay in their euros exactly the same price as retail price in uk when you do a £ to € exchange. 😢 Oops , currency mistake , sorry 😢 uk buyers pay about 4 to 5 hundred pounds more for a lesser specked top of hs plug in range.

It's perfectly capable of the claimed 0 to 100, but you need to be in the right mode, fully charged battery and to be good at standing starts. As with all PHEV 0-60. Unlike a BEV where you are more or less guaranteed to come within 10% of the 0-60 if you keep it at 100% power

UK insurers only give the petrol version a adequate safety rating , the phev version has a inadequate insurance rating hence the price hike when you insure

@ellisrochlin2267 no. That's not how uk insurance underwriting works. Risk is not analagous to safety in that way, the more powerful the vehicle, the higher the price, the availability of spare parts the cost of repair. The location you live, your gender, your age and your occupation. The PHEV HS is the fastest most desirable MG HS and the most expensive to buy, and the most complex internally therefore the most expensive to repair. That's it.
