They took a bunch of my money this year. Jakyl upper, AKV and now the Rock 57. Don't have a high round count yet but so far everything has been solid. Jakyl is heavier than the BRN180, but the charging handle location is superior IMO.

Hopefully they'll do a 13.7" pin & weld for that 7.62x39mm version too. It's nearly optimal barrel length for the cartridge and with a folding stock it'd be an excellent modern alternative to a shorty AK.

Are these not mini scars? I've watched many videos on the Jakl and own a 300 bo first production. From what I have seen , these are scar clones for the most part and I hear that a 308 is in the works... I have a ks 47 already and am excited to see the 7.62 x39 coming out . The 9mm version looks tits as well . I guess I will have to own a version of each . With a 13.7 jmac pin n weld 556 next on the list . I'm thinking I'll go smoke cerakote for the next one. Given the fact that i already have the BO in FDE....Anyhow, it is nice to see a company offering high quality gunsmithing amd manufacturing, on a working man's budget. Just need a stock that doesn't cost 300-400$. I called magpul and asked them if they had any intention in making something like their Zukov stock but for 1913 and they said no. Seems like they could supply a big up coming market. So many new guns coming out like this.

@@StephenButkay your best bet if you want something on a buffer tube is to get the dummy mounts and just do your research and if it'll lock with the stock you intend to use. Direct pic rail mounted stock options are pretty shit rn though.

JAKL in _5.7x28mm_ with 6-8" barrel. This could be an entirely new PDW product line for the JAKL. Especially now that you [PSA] will be releasing an AR-V 9mm version. I’ve never dealt with them in that capacity, so I cannot speak to their performance in that area. I do know that every single time I need support for a web order, they screw it up. They screw it up completely. They even screw up the proposed resolutions to their previous screw ups. They manage to screw up so consistently, and consecutively, that I have no problem “disparaging” them on the internet. ❤️

308 win in JAKL make more sense than the 7.62 x 39 model. You already have the versarilty of 300blk and with PSA aac ammo ammo is plentiful.. dump the x 39 and give the world 308 win and more blackout options in FDE

I’d like to know about the bolt on the x39. Typically 7.62x39 in a gun originally intended for 5.56 causes short bolt life. I wonder if they did anything to account for that.

Same. Not only that, but even shorter extractor life. As someone who has built 2 reliable AR-47's, this is the glaring issue that no-one is answering at the moment. If it does indeed have a "proper" bolt & extractor, I will very much be interested in this new offering. But if it's just another x39 hybrid with the same issues, I'll be extremely disappointed.

I think the only real solutions are to either use a AR10-sized bolt ala the Mk47 Mutant which is almost a complete redesign of the rifle, or machine the bolts out of Aermet 100 which is hard on tool-life and expensive material.

I'm not super familiar with the inner workings of the Jackal and its bolt, but doesn't it deviate somewhat from the AR-15's bolt profile and bolt face? I imagine if the Jackal does use a multi lug rotating bolt like the AR-15 but without a DI system, then they probably are wiling to deviate from the size and dimensions of the AR-15 bolt face enough to support the 7.62x39 cartridge without shortening the lifespan of the bolt. This is just speculation on my part though.

Direct blowback for PCC is DUMMY simple and reliable. Think UZI, PP19, Mac 10. Making a weapon gas operated when it doesnt need to be just adds unnecessary complexity.

I already messaged them saying to get you to review one of their guns because I knew you would hate doing it and they saw it and replied, plus Alabama Arsenal is the only person to review it and he didn't really test it or go in depth so we need you to do it plus you'll probably get a lot of views being the only one to do an in depth review.
