I live about 2 hours from the delta it is one of the coolest places I’ve ever fished and an overall amazing experience. Hope to fish there more when I get a car and better kayak.

My biggest Frog Bass is 8lbs. Northern CA. That's actually a really nice bass in general for the area. We occasional see 9lb+ in some lakes but they're very smart. Something about our strain live longer but don't get as big as the Florida strain.

That's a giant frog fish, man. During day one of the Anglers Choice western regional teams championship at Clear lake in Aug. 2001, I had a huge fish on.. but then pulled off. Day two, we go back to our weed line and caught a good limit by 10am, then I flip an 8.5 ..the same fish I lost on day one. We got big fish for the event plus we won 3rd place prize. A certificate for a 2001 19' fully rigged Bass Cat w/175 Merc. We both had new boats, so we sold the cert. for 28k. 2nd place got a 20' Bass Cat w/220 Merc, 1st place got ..two 20' Bass Cat's w/220 Merc's
