New PING Glide 3.0 Wedges + Eye2 Model - On Course Review

Never been a ping fan but had a fitting today and wanted to game wilson or cally md wedges. Didn't blow me away then fitter handed me these after a dozen shots they felt awesome. Soft feel and spin was incredible, a lighter feeling club was exactly what i was looking for. Put my order in instantly for 52, 56 and 60 never thought i would ever have ping clubs in my bag but these are a big winner for me.

Always loved ping wedges still carry an eye 2+ sand wedge nothing is better out of bunkers.

Mine will be here in a couple of days. 50 (lofted up to 49), 54, and 58. I had a set of Ping Eyes years ago and like the Eye2 style. Can't wait to get them out on the course.

thanks for brilliant review yet again, love the eye2 . father used to play with red dot eye 2 long ago, going too try out the 56 eye 2 as need a 56 degree wedge, thanks again and stay safe, greetings from Ireland

It's funny seeing that glide and looking at my son's Jr 9iron and seeing that they are same shape head with the exception of size. It is hard to look at but after trying out his club myself I now see how that shape works. It's very effective especially around the greens.

I miss my Ping Eye2 Irons from the 80's, and hit the SW & LW better than any wedges I've owned since. Ordered the 54° & 58° Glide 3.0 Eye2...Ping aesthetics are fantastic and these look great...will fit with my i500's beautifully! Can't wait to hit them...like going back in time!

@@bbslimecity4244 I work for a golf retailer and placed the order for the Eye2 thru the rep. The 58° came Thursday and he hopes the 54° comes late next week. Keep checking w/TGW, but call Ping service as they should have the order in their system and can give you ship dates.

The 2.0 stealth finish will not leave my bag for a long time... usually I get swayed by reviews but those are the clubs in my bag that I have no interest in looking elsewhere to replace ha

Not liking the look of them at all Mike ,I just love the traditional looking wedge like my Titliest set ,I'm sure some Ping fans will like them though.

As always ping make ugly clubs. Sorry just my opinion. They are good clubs though.
