I'm back to cherry picking while multi-apping it's working for me! I like DD but going for Platinum caused me to JUST have to do DD

@@YourDriverMike & at that point you probably saw a considerable drop in your earnings !! I am a platinum Dasher in a very busy, Yet somehow oversaturated market. I’m struggling to even make 16 an hour.
@TheClubbinator6 сағат бұрын
I’m platinum with 1770 deliveries and the only bonus that I can count on is being able to schedule Dashing anytime I want. Gold & Silver are restricted to what is available and for me that sucks extremely when it comes to Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays which are the best days to Dash. Furthermore, I do not do any shopping for DD.

That is a huge plus. I had been driving 15 miles into town and waiting for the map to turn red, then hoping I could get back in at the end. You really need a decent shift to make it worthwhile with how far out I am.

Which market? Seems like a busy one
@joust1824 сағат бұрын
Yea I love dash anytime, ease of mind not to have to schedule or stare at the screen waiting for and area to open up. I dont take many bad offers actually, but more average offers to keep ratings up. Plus I get those juicy catering offers sometimes $70+ that just make you happy :) In the 4 months this has been in my market I only dropped down from Platinum to Gold once for a couple hours when I had a big drop off in 100 in last 30 days down to 91.

I've been platinum for a week now. I just ended my highest week of over $700 for the week. I've only been dashing for 3 weeks. Here, you have to maintain 75% acceptance. Crazy that different areas have different requirements.

For me. Its easy to stay platinum when you get two or more l.o.p. orders a day. Just off of those. You hitting 50 to 150. Makes it easy to average 160 to 200 daily. 8am to 12pm then 5pm to 9pm. 💵💰💸

I once had a $8+ order that ended up being $36

Sometimes the night goes well and you don't have to decline much throughout the dash.

Question: While the Platinum Driver is busy taking low pay orders with some times high miles, (which cherry pickers) decline; to maintain that platinum level, who is getting the high pay offers? Is DD going to let those high pay offers sit and get cold until a platinum driver is available? My son is platinum, I am not. We compare notes. The results are not that different. We multi app and I do not take anything less than $5. ON RARE occasion 4.25, 4.50, 4.75 if it's on a return to home with pick up nearby and drops off in the hot zone and is ready when I arrive. Not ready: gets cancelled.

70% AR is the bear minimum just because you have reached Platinum status that doesn't automatically guarantee you high banger offers. If there are other platinum Dashers with a higher AR I'm sure they will be getting first choice. I have found that the sweet spot for higher paying offers with good mileage is between 87% and 94%.
@YourDriverMike5 сағат бұрын
We've never heard that officially though, do higher AR Platinum Dashers 'outrank' lower AR Platinum Dashers. I wouldn't think so necessarily, DD is still most likely using their base algorithm but it's all speculation since we don't have that access.
@chrisbrookssr3 сағат бұрын
Ive tried this. And there is a difference. On average here you looking at 9 bucks 3 or less miles if your a.r is 80% or better
@brokenscalez34464 сағат бұрын
I did dd all summer was plat done over 700 orders (was miserable) I can honestly say it’s not worth it you can make double by multiapping during peak times and cherry picking

Have you are anyone else actually kept track of your AR percentages? I feel like it rarely goes up when accepting and almost always goes down when declining, sometime it even goes down 2% from one decline... like what, how is a 2% drop from one decline even possible? I realize it's based on a rolling 100 orders but it just seems fishy to me.
@YourDriverMike5 сағат бұрын
Yep! I have noticed the same thing and have read comments echoing this. I actually needed to hand document this though to really check

They sure send you A LOT of low paying offers for supposedly having priority for HIGH paying ones. UE on the other hand isn't too bad. It comes through for me when DD is dead.
@YourDriverMike5 сағат бұрын
I was decently happy with Silver and Gold, the casual Dasher having to do the 100 in 30 days really limits multi-apping for the person that only has a few extra hours a week. Even the 50% AR is a tough ask though

Have to be smart selective on platinum. You get priority, but only if you're available when the good ones pop. I'm very selective during supper hours, rest of the time I'm accepting 1 plus
@charlesclaridy86465 сағат бұрын
Good point. It is not good for the AR to work when most offers are backwards or too low. It's like fishing; one has to be patient and throw away the shad. Making bank and gas is no trouble if one schedules and gets out there to fish for the orders.

Thanks for sharing. Yes just thinking about all that effort to get Platinum just to be offered $4.25 for 1.1 miles
