For now, Porsche is continuing to get everything right.....from exterior body design to performance to small but important things e.g. not hearing the shift points (or barely..i couldn't hear them on this video...if they are there it has to be so subtle) vs the loud annoying THUMPS you hear in BMW's M8.......and in the YT video it looked like the revviewer felt each shift....heh....every f few minutes THUMP.......THUMP..... THe Carrera S is all the 911 any one truly needs. Witht he GT3...HONESTLY...you're just buying the naturally aspirated exhaust sound :)) For $50k more?? :)) And you hae to have owned a few 911's before being able to order a new GT3 ....

I don't think he owns it either as he is reviewing it but a downside would be the backseats which he said, it is hard to fit someone with the people in the front putting their chair back but on short trips you can adjust the seats to fit 4 adults, I asked someone who owned it and this is what they told me

@@joedimario1847 the tune does not void the warranty. A dealership can refuse to do a job for free if they believe the upgrade caused the damage. thats why its very important to use proven brands and only the recommended map for your setup and fueling.

They put the cruise control on the turn signal stalk?? I would not buy that car, for that one reason alone. Cruise controls belong on the steering wheel under the right thumb. The stalk is in a fixed position and every time you turn the wheel, they move relative to your hand, and you have to take your hand OFF THE WHEEL to adjust. Ridiculous.

@@jabesnyder --- Yeah, you can be sarcastic, but why did they move shifters from the steering column, to the center console, and finally to the paddles on the steering wheel? Is the principal function of an auto-mobile mobility, or should the ability to make a phone call take priority insofar as controls are concerned? If Porsche thinks that a sports car shouldn't really have CC, they should omit any CC altogether (as well as the "infotainment" system). My conclusion is that the mechanical engineering division at Porsche does not lunch with the interior design second string. Toyota finally did something radical, they changed something! They took their CC off the stick and put it on the steering wheel. If you're 70 mph on a freeway, just tap and you're set, with no need to go search out the 3 mm tab on a stick. In suburbs holding 25 mph is a significant eye-glance-saving convenience, and when you're done braking and turning a corner, one tap and you're back on 25 mph.

The decal looks tacky. I get 911’s are great machines but I just don’t like the look of the front bumper and the way it overhangs so much - same on the cabriolet at the back”hump” once seen can’t be unseen. Interiors are class leading and driving one makes you feel you are a better driver (than you are) thanks to the electronics. I really want to love this car but …….
