@@brianhimmelman420 personally, the miata would be a third car not second. its too small for me as a driver and can't fit the luggage for a weekend away with the wife. It's also front engined and sound plans a big factor for me. The 981S fully loaded was my pick. If we're talking gt3 money, I would go 458 spider or a v10 hurcan

@Jay-xr3sb5 күн бұрын
@@brianhimmelman420 op mentioned this 911 as the perfect B road blaster, my 2 cents was that a 'lesser' car fits that bill better than a GT3. As wonderful as it is, it's over powered for a B road and you can't push the limits of its handling unless on track. Yes the gt3 costs more than the 458/huracan, but that what I would buy and pocket the difference- those alternatives offer more drama and emotional than the gts would.

Kudos to Porsche for sticking with a high revving, normally aspirated epic sounding engine and giving the option of a brilliant manual gearbox (though the PDK gearbox is probably the best of its type). The changes including shorter gearing and the option of a Weissach pack on the regular GT3 all positive. Most modern supercars don't do it for me but the GT3 is an exception.

I'd love to have the black sheep of the family 911... GT3RS body. GT3 hood (need that frunk but still like the small vents) Turbo S sport rear wing and interior, AWD and please be nice... The 4.0 engine but with a Single or twin supercharger setup and GT3 style exhaust. It would have the power (or more) of the Turbo S along with the same performance 0-60 and 1/4 mile but have enough air management from the body to Handle the track better than the Turbo S. I want that exhaust free and clear with no Turbos soaking up the glorious sound it would make. That's really the only issue I have with 911s. (Turbo models) They are crazy fast but the music out back has always been MEH.. Even with aftermarket exhausts the Turbo models never sound as fast as they look. A modern slant nose would VERY interesting.
