Forget the 9”, it over kill. Rebuild a EL/EF diff plenty strong enough and you can still keep the fuel tank. Upgrade the in tank to e85 pump and run a under car surge tank. Also put the biggest brakes that still fit into the standard 15” snowflakes. That way you keep the car looking as stock as you can. It’s been a dream of mine to put a barra into a XF fairmont Ghia since the xr6 turbo come out.

We are going to make the unit as a Bolt in kit that fits without needing to remove the original fuel tank. The main reason behind the 9" is that we are constantly getting calls asking for one to suit the XE-XF etc, this is the perfect time to produce a bolt in kit.

The green top barra is stronger then the red top. The green top has strong rods and pistons and has better compression for big power.

Ironic I have the exact same Fairmont Ghia, engine crane colour and all. I'm going to use the single cam engine at this stage with the C4 and borgwarner rear. I turbocharged the crossflow 15 years ago and that was a bunch of fun.

We don't have a spare C4 to use for the conversion, but we have plenty of GM autos to pick from., We want to do a install using one of our adaptor plate kits that allows you to join a GM Auto box up to the Barra.
