I really like playing as a female character in a full game. No every one likes to play as a male character. U can play as a male and female character in Black Desert online. I see no reason why players can't play as a female character in the game.

doesn't look bad. but I don't like the QTE aspects, the constant shaking of the screen in combat, and all the bloody fireworks fastened to swords and weapons. Hope they are all optional and can be turned off.

It would be nice to give Pearl Abyss credit, where credit is due. You can think of Black Desert what you want, but it has one of the most beautiful open worlds ever created. And the depth and versatility of the combat system puts games like DMC to shame. These guys and gals know their handywork.

Devs do a character what they feel good about, don't be racist about it. I didn't mind Miles Morales, I didn't mind Prototype 2 , I didn't mind Ghost of Tsushima, I didn't mind Assassin's creed Origins, and I can continue. If the character is great has a good backstory I don't care about color and you shouldn't either.
