Great review. I definitely trust your family's word and experience and have made several purchases in the past and have been quite happy. I have been tossing around the idea getting a m&p or a sig p220 45 or holding out for a new python. Just haven't decided yet

I agree with you on m&p prrformance and dependability. I've owned one in 40 since about o4 or 5. (Maybe o6, cost me $400 new)

Can you guys torture test a tisas 1911a1 clone? The one thats right around $300? I have one that I love and for the money I like it better than the colt mk4 series 80 i bought in 89.
