This is a case of when the demand for racism is way higher than the supply. People are so quick to label any incident that involves a black person as racism. If the kids in these videos were white none of you would care. Do you see that you are the actual racist? You have become what you pretend to hate.

This kind of action has been done to us black folks all our lives, 😊💕 I'm up in age and stuff like this don't even bother me anymore I seen enough and even worse in my years, not all white men white women are rude and evil, some have a heart and treat people the best way they can, I have been around white people that don't like any race other than white people, but their children grow up different, children don't know color or notice it when they're growing up it is something that is put up in their heads by the evildoers of this world close family members or even so-called friends, some will grow up making up their own minds and some stayed shut up with evil, teach your children to love to care to be happy and whatever situation they find themselves in because there are rude people in all races blacks Mexicans Indians Chinese Philippines Puerto Ricans Cubans Africans all over the world and I have met some of every kind living in peace with yourself is wonderful pray to God that he will change your ways, you try to change the man in the mirror if he's not walking and righteousness.

You guys never want to believe it is race? Why? This is a pattern... it can't all be coincidence. Why does it bother ypu so much to believe racism exists... just because you are white, you don't have to ignore racism to make yourself feel better. If you are not a racist, then it doesn't apply to you. But when you make excuses for racists... that's when you become part of the problem. I can't shoulder the burdens of everyone's mistakes who happen to be the same race as me, but i sure as hell won't make excuses for them...

"THIS" is not a "pattern" what is a "pattern" is folks screaming "racist" when they already have a "bias" viewpoint toward everyone - the problem wasn't "racism" the problem was/is the parent who decide it has to be "racism" & nothing else

@@johnjerman3421 if the person in the costume was black believe me Sesame place would reveal their identity. Plus it is clear, he/she said no to those two little girls. If the costume doesn't allow for the person to see everyone, it must only be blind to black kids because it sure allows for them to see the white children... i bet if it was your children being left heart broken like this, you would feel otherwise. The other parents thought it was nothing as well, until the parent with the two little girls came out, then other parents realize this has been a pattern. This is why I like loud racist, i know who you are and i know to stay clear, but this passive/agressive and insidious racism is very hard to prove eventhough you know it is racism.

@@ChynaFearsBuckwheat2001 I am black. I grew up in the south. My parents taught me to know mu own strength and not to take everything some white person said to me to heart. They taught me to rise above the racism. I've been called the N-word more than once. Just recently a white woman referred to me as colored so I had to educate her. I'm all for standing up for your rights. My comment was meant to magnify the need for our children to know their own worth and strength so when they are confronted by racism they know it's not anything they did. It's the hatred and ignorance of the one spewing it who is at fault.

@@handsomeblackmuscle9845 , I'll talk about it. How about separating the blacks that don't want to live with the murderers. The government had a chance to do that, yet they gave affordable housing to black women and told them to get rid of their man. How about helping the entire black community. How about giving free housing and giving free grants to the people willing to take down gangs? Nope, just condemn them and put your life at risk. The government has technology to see ant from space but can't see gangs selling drugs on the corner? The prison system and court system makes billions off criminals. You think they want that shit to completely stop? People want black people to go against gangs in our community. Ok, where's the free housing, free grants, witnesses protection, and job placement that comes with that? If you can't give reparations to blacks, then give something to the ones that's suffering in the hood and want no part of the criminal activity. You don't try to stop criminal activity in the black community. You simply give something to the ones that don't participate in criminal activity. So if every black person stopped criminal activity, you telling me there will be no racism? The government benefits off gangs and drugs so they can care less if the ever stop .

At this point the only thing that companies can do, other than training the staff on being fair and kind to all kids, is to make it a rule of Cast will have NO contact with guest : No hand shake, NO high fives, NO hugs, just wave 👋. As well as adding a disclaimer when purchasing tickets of their no physical contact with characters rule. It should state that parents are responsible for making sure their children are aware of this rule and make sure they abide by it. So parents will know that it's not personal it's just the best rule so no kids feelings get hurt. There's no other way around it. Otherwise this will keep happening, and the law suits will keep piling up.

We agree in this situation. It looks like the character tried to do both children at once. He/she even looked back at the child. We felt the character tried in this situation. However, it seemed like the other one that the character is possibly being racist. Characters need to do a better job of acknowledging the children. Unfortunately, racism exists and has gotten worse recently. It's hard to know people claiming racism when it didn't actually occurs. However, people that are racist and people falsely claiming racism will get theirs in the end. They know they are wrong in both situations and God knows too. It's sad that racism exists. One time we don't see racism is at sporting events. All races mix together to support their team and even go against their own race. I believe if any character is going to be out there touching hands of children, then it should be only fair that he touched the hands of all children and not some , this is what started this whole drama, instead of these characters touching hands especially those that don't like children why even be in a character costume? They should probably just throw out candy, flowers, something that does not involve them touching or close to anybody, and that will solve a lot of this problem, they can even throw out buttons with their character pictures on them, why start a war of racism, and train your child's mind not to think evil but not to get upset when they are treated different than others, they will grow with that mentality and they will be happier in life, make your own little happiness and your own neighborhood and your own community with your own family. God Bless.

regardless of the truth of your story, the discrimination against these young children has absolutely nothing to do with you or your white son and his scholarship so i don’t understand why you’d bring it up. these young children were discriminated against and made to feel like they are less than others because of who they are. you should not feel threatened by that. instead, you should feel empathy, especially as a parent. i hope that you think long and hard about why you’d react this way.

I'm confused... First of all, the character high-fived the black boy next to her. This rules out an issue of race. And yes, you have a disappointed child. It's sad, but these things have happened to children throughout history excited at parades and not getting the attention they want from the characters walking by. This is just an entitled world where it's blown way out of proportion that the kid is going to be traumatized for life. Back in my day they weren't videoing every moment... She likely looked back at the camera disappointed because she knew her dad was trying to get a good shot. This is on the parents not allowing their kids to just enjoy without having to be in a production for social media.
