I'm 61, had a metal lunch box , and one of my youngest brothers will be 50 he had them. I am not sure if my oldest he'd one or not , he's 31! My Beagle has been wearing his coats and sweaters as soon as the temps went down below 40. We have had snow off and on for the past 4 days. We got maybe 4 inches in all. The minute I saw you I loved your sweater looks so comfy on a cold winters day. I was laughing hysterically watching Piper trying to get her pajamas off. Some sad news I lost my 15 year old dog. He had 2 displaced retinas and it didn’t stop him much. He was my shadow and would always be in my craft room following me around. My heart is broken I’m sure you understand. I have one more here with me now and she rules the house. She weighs 4 1/2 pounds and misses the other one too. I love the sweater for Piper that you said is way too big. That money bank had me smiling too. Stay warm and hug those dogs. ❤❤❤❤

I had the snoopy lunchbox. My best friend had the Holly hobby. My mom always put soup in my thermos in the winter, sometimes hot chocolate, what great memories.

I remember the metal lunchbox! I think I had Holly Hobby, too. My room when I was about 10 was all Holly Hobby. This dug some old memories out 😊. Absolutely loved the flocked bushes for the planter! And I still do stockings too! My kids are 35 and 32. I've had stockings my whole life but this year will be different, I had neck surgery on the 5th (3 artifical discs put in and 4 fusions) so I won't be able to get out and shop for stuffers this year. That's the 1 thing I insist on putting my hands on and picking out for each kid, in- law and grand. Hubby is taking great care of me but I don't trust the stocking stuffers in anyone else's hands lol. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Thankful for great yt "friends" to help me thru recouping! Merry Christmas!

My friend had Holly Hobbie, but my siblings and I always ate hot lunch. Both my parents worked so that’s what worked for us. I had a Raggedy Ann and Andy alarm clock that I set faithfully from fourth grade on.😊

Oh I had the exact same Holly Hobby Metal lunch kit, and I was born in 79’ - when I went to kindergarten in 84’ - I had a plastic cabbage patch one. So somewhere between 79-84 the metal to plastic switch happened (I’m guessing 🤔). Love your sweater and tree, Heather! I found you a few weeks ago and I have been watching your past videos, your press on nail vid has totally influenced me to start the press on journey hahah. Love them AND your channel. Hi Heather, I laughed when you showed the 1st dog ones, but then when you should it on Piper. I actually laughed out load. I love watching your channel, but I’ve been going through a lot of things. So today I’m trying to catch back up. Even though I’m late, I wish you & your family a Happy New Year. I also did have a metal lunch box, bc I was born 3/17/65. I also wanted to say that the faux bushes you got for your outside planters, looked amazing. They to me were worth the $25 you paid, but not $44. I think that’s bc I grew up with very little. I also grew up in the 70’s and definitely had the metal lunchboxes and they were so awesome! They were completely discontinued by 1985, I read because plastic was cheaper. My daughter had a Hobby Lobby lunchbox also. My son had Dukes of Hazard and he actually got John Schneider to sign it, this was after he was grown but still a thrill. I love the bank, my grandkids would go crazy for it.

Metal lunch box crew. I started out with brown bags and then the lunch boxes came out . Loved that thing. I’m 59 so I remember all the cool stuff that came out when I was young. Metal lunch boxes stopped when they could be used as weapons and now they would set off metal detectors we have to have in schools because of idiots. Just my take on it.

I had a metal lunch box. I had many different ones over the years. I love the evergreens you put into your pots. They’re pretty. I think the poinsettias would add a lot to them.
