They are not abandon, the demand is so high that they keep most of their stock in fields. It is the same where I live. They just haven’t been sold yet

@@mohawkgarage My 2019 model 3 has over 40k miles on it, parked it on plenty of grass, the original brake rotors are still shiny. That's the thing with Teslas, the brakes lasts literarily forever with EV's regenerative braking.

The dealer near me in Kansas City always has ample inventory and 12-15 of the appliance trucks. I also see a lot on roll backs headed back to the service center with Tesla’s on the bed. EV’s need a lot more range to get me interested along with a much more robust power grid. US sourced components and manufacturing would be nice also, Sincerely Captain Obvious

@@mohawkgarage batteries can be at 3.8v per cell to get them into storage mode. Tesla uses high-end batteries that last for years at that voltage. But I do agree that other components could be damaged.

@@mohawkgarage yeah, if it’s over 3.8 than it will auto discharge, but the bad thing is if the battery is under 3.8 then it could damage it because it can’t just randomly add voltage
